Hello dear,

Why are you all are worried about cap reached ? if your application received by CIC Canada before your cap reach date, then it means you are in cap. so my dear all my friends don't worried about that.

As per my experience when i was send my application to CIC, the cap reach to 975 out of 1000, and after my application reach to CIC next week cap also reach to 1000 application. and i was in the cap.

DD can be encase any time so don't depend on your application fee DD encasement date

Thanks

Dear Canph,

There are two stages of eligibility related to work experience & occupation. First stage is Basic Eligbility which seems to be OK as per your post. The second stage is minimum requirement for the work experience which is as follows as per CIC:

B) Minimum requirements
Work experience
If your application is eligible to be processed, we will then assess it to see if your work experience is valid.

Your work experience must be:

•for at least one year in the same occupation,
•continuous and paid (full-time or an equal amount in part-time),
•within the last 10 years,

AND
•skill type 0 (managerial occupations) or
•skill level A (professional occupations) or
•skill level B (technical occupations and skilled trades)

on the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC) list.

If you review the NOC list for 3212, you will find description, example titles, main duties and employment requirement. Please refer to NOC 2011 for description and main duties. As far as Employment requirements are concerned, you will find on NOC 2011 as below:

Employment requirements
• Medical laboratory technicians/assistants require completion of a college certificate program in medical laboratory science.
• Certification by the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science may be required for medical laboratory technicians/assistants.
• Combined laboratory and X-ray technicians require completion of a combined laboratory X- ray technology program.
• Pathologists' assistants require some post- secondary courses or a university degree in life sciences and Specialized on-the-job training.

Please check if his education complies to above employment requirements of NOC 3212 as per NOC 2011.

Hey Abu,
Thanks for your reply,

the duties and responsibilities are 70 to 80 percent same listed under occupation. Yes he has a degree which is related to medical that is Ayurvedic medicine which takes five and half years to complete in India, he decided to take this lab thing as it lucrative and his sister is a biochemist hence it was beneficial for them to start the lab biz.
After seeing all the discussion in the forum I felt he can go ahead with WES but still it is better to get the guidance of seniors who have better information, knowledge who can guide us through the dilemma. So, should we go ahead with the arrangements or not, what are the chances of being in the cap as of now it seems ok but no one knows but still a comforting word from others gives the required boost,
looking forward

He is safe as far as cap is concerned.

70 to 80 duties & responsibilities will work fine. Now calculate points on your own and see if he can cross the pass mark. In that case, go ahead with WES evaluation, gather all required documents, and send the application as soon as possible. You don't know if this occupation will be available in next immigration plan.

Dear Member,
try to understand the system of process by CIC. as CIC is processing applications of sept 1st and 2nd week applicants and CAP reaches means other applicants are not in the CAP.
this system was also I felt in Nov 2011 when my wife's application returned at that time CAP was @ 423 when file reached and after 4 month app returned due to CAP reach.

I am feeling LVO applicant will get MR in first week of December because old applicant are not getting MR now a days but only PPR.

I have the same feeling too. Then, it will be MR rain for LVO applicants. I am pretty sure LVO is aware of our anxieties.

Congrats Ahab1974, please could you share some of the GCMS note in terms of timeline/future dates so we have an idea of what's going on in LVO? Thanks.

Okay so here goes, and I better get a lot of +1 for this:

Application was received on 23 May 2013.

Application was created (PER issued) on 7 August 2013.

1. GCMS Notes indicate that my file has been assigned to an officer at the London Visa Office (LVO).

2. The date date for the assignment to the officer is 31 January 2014. This is when I think the file processing is due to begin.

3. There are three subsequent background checks. (i) Security, (ii) Criminality and (iii) Medical.

4. The due date for completion of all three checks is 7 August 2014. That is exactly ONE YEAR from the date the PER was issued.

So let's keep that in mind. One year from the PER was issued, the LVO must complete all background checks and then move on to issuing visas.

Good luck.

ONE more from NDVO

Category: FSW 2013
Visa Office: NDVO

App filed: 10th June 2013
PER Received: 28th August 2013
AOR Received: 24th Oct 2013

Hi Friends, I am a silent spectator of this thread, want to update my details as well and share my experience with NDVO.

After receiving AOR on 24th Oct, Yesterday 27th Nov - we receive email form NDVO requesting to Submit Medicals, PCC, PR FEE & PASSPORTS before 11th Jan 2014, and the emails states “MEDICALS FORMS AND INSTRUCTIONS HAVE BEEN EMAILED TO YOU SHALL RECEIVE THE SAME IN DUE COURSE OF TIME”So far we haven’t received any mail with the medical forms
