I am feeling LVO applicant will get MR in first week of December because old applicant are not getting MR now a days but only PPR.

You have to wait for the snail mail enclosing your application from CIC to reach you.

Dear Canph,

There are two stages of eligibility related to work experience & occupation. First stage is Basic Eligbility which seems to be OK as per your post. The second stage is minimum requirement for the work experience which is as follows as per CIC:

B) Minimum requirements
Work experience
If your application is eligible to be processed, we will then assess it to see if your work experience is valid.

Your work experience must be:

•for at least one year in the same occupation,
•continuous and paid (full-time or an equal amount in part-time),
•within the last 10 years,

AND
•skill type 0 (managerial occupations) or
•skill level A (professional occupations) or
•skill level B (technical occupations and skilled trades)

on the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC) list.

If you review the NOC list for 3212, you will find description, example titles, main duties and employment requirement. Please refer to NOC 2011 for description and main duties. As far as Employment requirements are concerned, you will find on NOC 2011 as below:

Employment requirements
• Medical laboratory technicians/assistants require completion of a college certificate program in medical laboratory science.
• Certification by the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science may be required for medical laboratory technicians/assistants.
• Combined laboratory and X-ray technicians require completion of a combined laboratory X- ray technology program.
• Pathologists' assistants require some post- secondary courses or a university degree in life sciences and Specialized on-the-job training.

Please check if his education complies to above employment requirements of NOC 3212 as per NOC 2011.

Even I have the same query, my cousin planning to apply for fsw NOC 3212 lab assistant in hospital and running his own small lab. Even though his education background is not related to lab technology but has worked more than 6 years in hospital and opened recently last year his own lab but continues to work in hospital to network with doctors to get patients referred.
So will he be eligible for the occupation mentioned, as he has taken ielts and scored 6.5, but has to evaluate his degree at WES but confused regarding the qualification and degree.

Applicants failing to fall within the CAP won't be informed by CIO unless applicants send an enquiry email to them.

My ECAS updated on 25th NOV saying " We started processing your application on November 21, 2013" but still no MR email...
Don't know whats wrong...

Same is my status , they started procesing on 20th Nov but so far no mail for MR.

You had applied in May 2013 which means your application fell within the CAP limit. There is an issue of completeness or eligiblity. Did you send any email to CIO to check the status of your application? If yes, what was the reply?

May I ask what were the reasons you were rejected in your first two tries?

May I ask what were the reasons you were rejected in your first two tries?

the first time was in August 2007 and afterwards my application as cancelled with the elimination of the backlogs back in 2012.
the second time was in May 2013 and application was sent back because my work experience paper did not include detailed description of my job.
and the 3rd time was in October 2013 which is now obsolete.
really bad luck and I will not try for 4th.
I thick it is not my destiny.

Dear All,

It is just a medical form and request for landing fee.

No passport request or PCC for now.

Unfortunately, I am very sad as I had delayed to tying the knot hoping like in previous years I can submit his MR alongwith mine as there had been a provision earlier but they have not mentioned the standard "change of circumstances like marriage, baby" anywhere. No mention. So I fi do it now, everything will be delayed for months....

Such is life...
