The minimum requirement of work experience calls for 1 year work experience related to same occupation. This argument might not work that in certain parts of world HR people also work in health & safety. Anyways, I wish you good luck, who knows you may get through.

Even I have the same query, my cousin planning to apply for fsw NOC 3212 lab assistant in hospital and running his own small lab. Even though his education background is not related to lab technology but has worked more than 6 years in hospital and opened recently last year his own lab but continues to work in hospital to network with doctors to get patients referred.
So will he be eligible for the occupation mentioned, as he has taken ielts and scored 6.5, but has to evaluate his degree at WES but confused regarding the qualification and degree.
Kindly request seniors to guide,

Hi,

I am currently in US on H1B & plan to drive to Canada (Toronto) for completing my PR formalities and come back to US in 3 days. I want to know,

1. Can I drive my own car from the US to Canada? What all documents will I need?
2. What other documents apart from cashier check for funds & list of current items are required? How long it takes for the overall process?
3. Has anyone taken a bus from NY to Toronto? Is that easier than driving your own car?
4. Also my stamped H1B Visa is expired but I have a valid extension document (797) and I suppose that would be sufficient enough to re-enter US. Please let me know.



I drove a rental car from Buffalo to Toronto in July and completed my landing.

1. Yes you can. I would bring the car's title along. And make sure that your car is on your import goods list.
2. I had a cashier's check with me but didn't feel that it was needed at all. They told me bank statements are good as evidence of funds. They felt actually strange to see a bank check and asked "are you actually going to deposit it here or is it going back to the U.S. With you".
3. Bus should work as well as your own car. Either way is better than a rental car.
4. Yes it's sufficient.

there s only one day gap between started processing n sending MR..does it mean they have completed document verification within 24 hours??
I know they don't need to verify education (already done by WES)
They might not verify work experience ( If they think its genuine)
Wat about IELTS??

I think gogreen has also the similar case.... might be there are other members also apart from the forum.... it's just that they have mentioned that they have started your process... that's a positive sign buddy... don't think negative...I think luckyshyama mentioned that she received it by post... might be there are some chances that you may receive it by post.... these days NDVO has become totally unpredictable .... might be they have started the process for many applicants n will suddenly start shooting them MRs... why to think negative... there are already very unusual things... like vicky got only MR... whereas I2C got MR with other request also... and many more cases....

My ECAS updated on 25th NOV saying " We started processing your application on November 21, 2013" but still no MR email...
Don't know whats wrong...

Yuvs has very rightly explained the unpredicability of NDVo. SO please dont panic.

I made a right prediction on NOC 2131 Cap. Sometime prediction works

All July Applicants in NOC 2131 will definitely fall in cap.

August Applicants in NOC 2131 would have a fair chance.

September Applicants in NOC 2131 have to be lucky.

October Applicants in NOC 2131 are out of the cap.

This is just my opinion and the actual figures may be something different.

i doubt if they are doing backgrnd chcks...
coz no 1 in this forum has reported backgrnd chck for their employers...
