Sorry mate...when u said Sydney in previous post, I was thinking about CIC Sydney..its my mistake..
Since u answered Australia VO (hopefully u must have provided your current Australia address n status of your stay) they will send it to Australia..bcoz in later stages its easy for u to submit ur passport where u live..
When CIC send your file number by email they will tell which visa office they have transferred ur file.. if not then u l have to wait until they request MR (it l come from processing vo)
other option is call them when u get ur file number..

Hello!
I have received the "confirmation of permanent residence" document today. I was expecting to receive a passport request. But the letter that accompanies the document say that: "Since December 1, 2011, we have ceased affixing visas in passports of applicants for permanent residence whose applications have been accepted and who are from visa exempt countries, which is your case."

I didn't know about that, and since I don't need to send the passport to de visa office, all this process has finish for me now.
I what to thank everyone in this forum, knowing the experiences of others doing the same steps I was doing to get the permanent residence has been extremely useful. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

I wish the best for all of you. ;D
Please, update this information in the spreadsheet.
Congrats...

Wait for few more days as currently CIC is processing 12th September applications, so just few days and you will have all information in your hand

Does anybody have any news on Medical Requests or any thing for the many people waiting on the LVO.

So it is confirmed that if expiry date is mentioned on the PCC (less than one year i.e. 3 months or 6 months), then CIC/Visa Office will consider that date and won't give one year period for such PCCs.

Is there any one on this forum who got MR, PPR and Visa stamped has similar case of submitting 3 months or 6 months valid PCC along with the application and Visa Office didn't ask to re-submit the new PCC?

Adrenalineforu said:
@ sinestra - You beat me to it during transition from office to home.

@ Abu - Our PCCs have no expiry and seeing that FSW2013 would theoretically take an year to complete I also understand that PCCs are good enough for an year for CIC to consider valid BUT not the ones that have an expiry mentioned. Having said so, LVO will need updated PCCs but you shall be asked of those at the time when you'll be asked of additional documents, medicals and PP. Now should you be applying for due-to-expire PCCs beforehand they are asked depends on how long does it take for you to get them from 3 countries you mention. If you want to save some processing time you can apply beforehand but not such that they expire by the time they are asked. Plan wisely.

Addendum - I applied for 2 more PCCs last week; for an uncle and aunt in neighborhood; who wish to travel to US in 3 months time. One change I noticed is that PCC now requires fixing an appointment which was not there when myself & wife applied earlier in Feb/Mar 2013.

This link might help. ..

fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/criminal-history-summary-checks/submitting-a-criminal-history-summary-request-to-the-fbi

Thank you for help..yes i am following same link for fbi pcc.. but i am looking for fingerprints experts who can do fingerprinting on card.. as it has mention that we need to take fingerprinting from fingerprints experts.

Abu, what'll happen ultimately is at the sole discretion of the case processing officer. Quite possible a valid PCC is required as one of the preliminary documents only at the time of application and may not be asked again during processing but even if asked again at a later stage, one must comply.

My intuition says, in most cases, it won't be asked of those who submitted a valid PCC at the time of submitting the application to CIC, NS but again the call lies with the officer. For those who didn't submit initially will have to do so when asked.

Edit - I see you have submitted PCC when you filed your application. I think you should wait for a formal request from London VO. Taking alternative advice as well from those similar in situation as yours will not be a bad idea.

There are lots of people between August ending to September first week that are yet to give us updates on their application. If a September 11 applicant has been charged, then those late august/early september applicants should please give us updates because i want to believe CIC did not overlook your applications for applications of later applicants. Thank you.
