OMG,, How long to wait?

I can understand your queries being applying without consultant. I have applied without consultant and it worked well. I shall try to guide you based on my experience.

1. You can fill in your AADHAR number. If there is no issue date and expiry date, leave them blank and attach an explanation letter why you didn't fill in the issue date and expiry date. As far as, grey shaded areas are concerned, when you answer a certain question, based on your answer next question may become irrelevant; hence becomes inactive which means you really don't need to answer that question. You just need to be very careful while answering such question which are making proceeding question(s) inactive.

2. You leave that question unanswered and you can attach an explanation letter for this too that why you are leaving it unanswered.

3. It is recommended to attach explanation letter separately for each form by stating the form name, question number etc. at the top.

4. It should be OK as far as they are authentic.

5. If you can attach a proof that you are legally staying in Korea for more than one year, you can choose Visa Office for Korea. This proof can be a notarized copy of your visa stamped on your passport.

Hello everyone,

I have following queries.

1. Generic application from , there is a column for National Identity Number. I am basically belongs Indian nationality, We have AADHAR number for this National Identity number. But as per requirement of generic form there is no issue date and expiry date. Since it is valid for lifetime so no expiry on this Card. How to address this issue.

Also in generic form there are some columns which becomes gray shaded areas while filling some thing in the preceding column and unable to fill anything. but as per requirement of CIC, we can not leave any blank. for e.g Have you received Certificate of Quebec, these area becoming gray shaded area when I filled Calgary in the preceeded section.
Please guide me?

2. My one year son don't have this National Identity Number, How to address this issue?

3. As a general one consolidated cover letter is enough or for each application separate cover letter will be required. for example for generic form issues one cove letter and for Schedule form 3 issues one cover letter etc..

4.Myself and my wife have birth certificates, but these are registered recently, Is there any sworn affadavit by parents are required for late registration of birth.

5. As i said above I am basically Indian citizen, but lawfully i was admitted to korea for past two years. So I can select the responsible PR processsing Visa office for Korea?

Please clarify my consufusions, it will greatly helpful for my application process

thanks a lot for all your valuable feedback.

My understanding is if you travel to other country and stay for longer periods such as 6 months; you have to produce a PCC for that country, then a tight security check is expected. But if you travel as a tourist to a well known tourist location, and your spend couple of weeks or even more, that travel & stay might not required any security check at all.

Anyone who had similar experience can actually clarify this further.

I think if the number of countries traveled increase, then it will delay the processing ( Security check)

Hi Abu Hassan
I am not sure. But I think it is the other way around. There r 2 issues. One is residing and the other is travelling. If u live somewhere for more than 6 months then it is being considered as "residing" in that country and u need the police clearance. If u live somewhere less than 6 months then it is being considered as "travelling". In case u have a police clearance means that u were not involved in any subversive activities. In case of travelling there is no record what had u done there. So needs more investigation. This is just my idea.

Dear Admins,

I received an email last thursday (21/11) from SP Visa Office requesting passports and the payment of the Permanent Residence tax and for me and my wife.
Victory dance is around the corner! :)

Please update the spreadsheet

Cheers,

Your logic is also understandable.

 E-Mail Address for Enquiry about application: CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca
 Procedure to get CIC agent on phone
 Call at – 0016139444000
 Select 1 for English
 Then 1 for foreign affair
 2 for immigration
 Call is being transferred to CIC
 Then 1 for English
 2 for status
 1 for PR
 When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
 Agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.
whether the agent will tell the status on the same time?

Dear Admin,

Please update my status,

I have received the email from CIO which contains my UCI number on 26/Nov/2013. I have checked the status using my UCI and it mentioned: "We received your application for permanent residence on August 28, 2013"

Thanks

Dear friends,

Could someone tell me that which visa office would receive my documents? How can I know about it?

The reason is that I wrote down 2 visa offices on my application. 1- Sydney, Australia and 2- Ankara, Turkey.

Now, I am not sure which one CIO will be used to send my documents.

Tnx.

Hi Admin, I had posted this earlier but looks like the spreadsheet has not been update. So, I am posting this again.

Please update my spreadsheet. I received my passport yesterday 23, Nov, 2013 with visa valid till Oct 12, 2014. I know some were mentioning that they got visa till their passport valid date, but my passport is valid till 2015. So, seems like they are giving visa for about a year. Thank you for everyone's help from this forum and hope everyone get their visa soon.

Hi,
My package was returned to me from CIO on October 11 since it was incomplete, but I have not received my package yet. Please update your spreadsheet. Good luck to everyone else. I'm not sure what part was incomplete because I have not read the letter in the package yet. I'm one of those unlucky ones I guess.

Sreeja. I also applied on sept 23 under NOC 3142. My application reached after urs. I am so eager to hear from you once after ur CC is charged as my payment was done through DD.
