Okay.. then I have one doubt..

Assumption:
I have applied under 1112 - have one year experience
I have experience under 2174 - have 10 years experience.. If my primary NOC is 1112 and I provide experience letter for both of the NOC, will I get 9 points or 15 points?

We got PER on the same date so I'm guessing my file will read similar to yours

The 7th August date seems to be a year from PER, which matches what Jigzzy got.

Please update my profile. I received my passport yesterday 23, Nov, 2013 with visa valid till Oct 12, 2014. I know some were mentioning that they got visa till their passport valid date, but my passport is valid till 2015. So, seems like they are giving visa for about a year. Thank you for everyone's help from this forum and hope everyone get their visa soon.

Dear NOVA21,

You will certainly get 15 points. You mentioned 2174 NOC code which is one of eligible occupation, even you have experience from other occupation which is not among 24 eligible occupations but it is from Skill Type 0 or Skill Type A or Skill Type B, you will still get 15 points.

You have to send an enquiry email to CIO about your application. If they have sent it back, they will mention the postal date. It will take normally 30 to 60 days to reach you from the date of post. CIO sends application back via snail mail and there is no way to track it on its way.

Hi Vivek, Sorry but the 2174 CAP reached at the end of May. any app reached cic after May 30 didn't make it this year. Get all your docs ready and resubmit next year. All the best

I git a reply from CIC on my file received by them in 26 Aug for NOC 2147

"Your file is with our office and is awaiting completion if initial processing. You will be contacted further by our office in due course."

Just nothing....After the initial processing u l be given PER if its positive..

Line 174 in the table: CC charged on 24/11/2013 , reach visa office 11/09/2013. PhD/PhD no job no relative.
