According to my GCMS note, I was only awarded points for the NOC related experience.
it is very surprising becoz cic guide 7000 states that all experiences in noc skill type 0 A and B will get points plz share what other experiences u have stated in ur application.

File Update - Transferred to London

Just received my GCMS notes.

File has been transferred to London.

Processing should begin by 31 January 2014.

Due date for completion of file (security, criminality and medical checks) is 7 August 2014.

So I guess I will hear something from them after the first quarter of next year.

Hi Ahab1974,
We got PER on the same date so I'm guessing my file will read similar to yours :)

The 7th August date seems to be a year from PER, which matches what Jigzzy got.

Thanks for sharing (+1)

Any idea anyone, what is actually happening at SGVO?Any applicant asked for GCMS?Am really worried at our progress in general. There are people with files sitting for almost 3 months as well!! :(

CIC guide says you can apply if ur work experience fall under Skill type 0,A & B. It doesnt mean u can get points if u have 3 jobs in each category... they will only give points for the experience in primary occupation we specify in our application..

What is the point sending Medical request to the dependents without sending to the primary applicant??
If the PCC date expires then they will ask an updated one, since ur timeline say u applied before two years...

You'd better send an email enquiry to ur local visa office regarding the medical...

Plz go throuh it i have copied from cic website it seems we can get points for all the experiences .
Factor 3: Work experience (maximum of 15 points)
You will receive points for the number of years of full-time paid work (or the equivalent in part-time paid work) you have obtained within the last ten years. Full-time means at least 30 hours of paid work in one week.

You must have at least one year of continuous full-time, paid work experience (or the equivalent in continuous part-time work) in the primary occupation you specify in your application.

In order to receive points for all of the jobs you have had over the past ten years, your work experience must be in one or more occupations listed in Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or B of NOC 2011. Follow the Determining your NOC category instructions above to find the NOC 2011 category that matches your skilled work experience over the past ten years.

You must provide proof of your work experience with your application. Refer to the Document Checklist (PDF, 240 KB) for more information.

Estimate how many points you will receive for your work experience:
