Dear friends,

Need help from those who has the same situation.

I applied for 2174, but was not lucky to go in the cap. My application received Canada on 17 Jun, but I haven't got any email or any contact from CIC so far, in regards to returning back my documents!

Now wondering if any one knows any contact number so I can call them and chase my papers!

Many thanks.

Hello All

I've applied for Canada FSW Visa on 17th May, 2013 from London. I've received the email(PER) on end of the July that my file has received positive review and is eligible for further processing. So I believe that the next step is that file will be moved to London visa office.

But its almost 3 and half months and I've not heard anything from the London visa office. No email or no change in status, its still "In Process" and only mention one line that my application is received on 17th May.

I'm not sure is there any problem with my application or not. The other thing I'm worried about is although I'm Indian I've chosen visa office as London because I'm on work visa here for next 2 years at least. So I even don't know whether my file will be processed at London or Delhi. Can we know it my any means?

And do all others who has London visa office didn't heard anything yet??

Thanks in advance.

Darshan,

London Visa Office (LVO) does not issue AOR.

Darshan no need to panic, London Visa Office did not send confirmation email. Secondly your application will be process at LVO so just wait and see when they will start sending medical request.

Hello Mate

I am a NOC 2174 - 13th June applicant. Just today have received the application back as it is. So suggest you wait for the package to be returned. For your information, I have sent the package from bangalore India

I am just going to this page here once again in hopes that I can understand and extract some useful information from it....
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=app_perm_wrkr&lang=en&app=ecas......as usual, somethings about CIC and the way they work will keep bothering me till the time I've to deal with them.

Firstly, the page gives a table not a diagram [face palm]..........

Secondly, I wonder if they really mean 'steps' as if they are followed in exact sequence as mentioned. Of course, WITHDRAWN may not necessarily be at that step in the table. A flow chart would explain better.

Thirdly, what's the significance of using red, green and blue colors? Are they just random? Coz' I can't happen to find any legend or color association with any of their offices or any other logic in general.

Fourthly, I don't understand the difference between 'VO eligibility review complete' and 'In process'. If the former says 'The review of the application and supporting documents has been completed at the visa office. A letter with additional information has been mailed.' then why does the latter says 'Based on review of your complete application package, it has been determined that your application is eligible for processing.
Processing has begun.
'

Or is this table just an abbreviation appendix like we have on our spreadsheet??

Ahh....forget about everything I wrote above. When AM I getting the COMPLETE status?

On the side note, I believe a few of us from CS, engineering and other streams, as soon as we get our PRs, should first be absorbed by CIC themselves. A lot needs to be streamlined there itself. For FSWP 2013+ programs, the whole process will become easier and transparent. ;)

Thank you very much for the prompt reply. As I'm new the forum, I'm wondering is there any way I can check whether in general all people who has London VO faces slow processing or someone already in next step like medical? And will it really take 25 Months to process a file as they mention in CIC website.

Darshan - no MR so far from London.
You can see other people's progress from the spreadsheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0Aovj20uHVWyzdGFqSGJUOEtVX0h5eWM0cXB5dlAtOEE&type=view&gid=0&f=true&colid0=2&filterstr0=London&sortcolid=64&sortasc=true&rowsperpage=250&pli=1

If you are not already on the spreadsheet please consider being added to it:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1RSvdnHoYn05C8KtMnZKpwmm8qFwR9io8914-piF9V6Q/viewform

Thank you loncan. I will surely add my details to it.

And Thank you all. I didn't know that the forum is so effective. As CIC provides very less information about all these things and also in eCas the status is not detailed, and there is no direct helpline or support where we can ask it. So I was just wondering from last 6 months about what is happening.

thanks again. :) :)

Question is, are they sending the MR letters by recorded delivery or normal mail?
My consultant is in Canada, so it's going to take ages and the letter might get lost?

barcomi looks like Luckyshayma got a physical letter cause HE/SHE mentions that "when i opened the letter" in the post. :)

Thanks a lot. So I'll get mine in maybe next 2 weeks. Did they make any contact with you so far?

Guys does NDVO only send the MR request through snail mail/courier? i mean do they not email as well??

If you don't provide an email address in your application, all comunications will be made by snail mail. It seems it is not her case:
