Thanks for replying gsriharsh.

There are normally 3 dates mentioned on Birth Certificate, one is the Date of Birth, second is the date of issue of Birth Certificate and third is the date of registration of the Birth. In normal circumstances, Birth is registered with concerned authority after few days or couple of weeks. Is Date of Registration on your Birth Certificate is few days after Date of Birth or it is closer to the Date of Issue of Birth Certificate?
My BC was registered 5 yrs after my birth

hello!

its been a while since i posted.... been patiently waiting for any news from LVO...

I've been thinking of moving my show money now to a new deposit account
but I'm afraid that there will not be enough time for a 3 month period;
if they ask for a 3-6 month bank statement.

badly needed your advise.

Thanks!

It does not have to stay in the account for the whole process. You might have to show the funds at a later stage again. If you transfer larger amounts, it might be necessary to explain this (to make sure, that it really is yours). So if you transfer it from another deposit or saving account under your name, it will not be a problem.

Hi all,
I am happy to tell you that after the medical exam done on the 6th of November today we received the passport request via email!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They also requested:
- ORIGINAL passport with a minimum of 12 months remaining validity and at least two blank pages;
- proof of payment for Right of Permanent Residence fee
- 2 recent photos/person as specified in the application guide; and,
- height (in cms) and eye color of each person.

I am very grateful and I sincerely wish you to receive this great news ASAP!
Keep in touch!! :-*

Congratulations...

I have a question.....My father's middle name is missing in my passport(also in PCC its the same as i applied through passport seva)....and in all other docs like birth cert,10th cert etc his middle name is mentioned...so in CIC forms also i have mentioned his full name......the docs which i hv sent to CIC dont have passport page with fathers name and also I have not sent PCC, so till now CIC dont have the two docs with his middle name missing,but when i will send my PCC...will this create some problem?...will it matter or not?? do i need to correct his name in the passport and PCC??

Thanks for sharing the info civeng and congratulations once again. God bless you.

'Original passport with a minimum of 12 months remaining validity'
My concern here - My passport expires on 13-Oct-14, so surely it won't be a 12 month remaining validity by the time I get a PPR. Can anyone from the FSW2 or FSW3 share the most recent PPR email from NDVO? Need to know what they need. If it's still 12 month, I gotta renew mine.

If true, that's a real bummer. Those who have chosen CC as payment option and did not get fees charged are in real danger now. Their applications can be rejected because of this.
Capital controls are in place. They started with gold import taxes, now they put the limits on bank transfers and CC charges. What's gonna be next? Bank holidays, like in Cyprus? Temple's gold confiscation? Feel sorry for you, guys.

Hey idima, is it possible that u withdraw money swiping your credit card and then create a DD for it and send it to CIC?

I have also same query, regarding passport expiry...but by some research on this canadavisa.com i found that if your passport valid for (say for eg) 6 months ....they (visa office) issues visa validty of 6 months.
Moral is valid of passport or validity of visa , which ever is earlier is valid.

That what i found..
Please share ....more information..

Yes.. really keen to know when MR rain will start coz its been a loooooooooooooooooooooooong time...

This isn't a good deal then.....why should we have visa for remaining validity months than a complete year after MR??
From my understanding then, one should apply for PP renewal as soon as it's expiry date tends to fall within the validity duration of visa itself.
