Members,
I have gone through one post by paritosh in " MEDICAL MONSOON STARTED AT NEW DELHI VISA OFFICE". It is as follows:-

Hi Friends today CIC has updated all backlog files they have total 62,406 inventory available with them as on June-2013. Hope they have cleared at least 50-60% till 30th Sept 2013. so rest will surely get Stamp before March 31, 2014. Hope all will get DM soon As march is my projection which is based on their inventory pattern but I hope they may clear by 31 Jan 2014 so No one required to go for Medical again if their MR is not expiring before Feb 2014.........
(Simple Calculation is that Add 40 Months from your document package received at NDVO you will get Visa Stamp before it. I have already posted many times that processing time will touch somewhere between 42-45 months for all FSW applicants and now today its 40 months.)
June 2013 - 41711 Economic immigrants (Total Inventory is 62406)
Sept 2013 - 28000 (Projected)
December - 14000 (Projected)
March 2014 - 00000000
Read below comment from CIC sites:
The Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) initiated job action on April 2nd. The withdrawal of service in certain offices took place between May 16 and September 25th, 2013, which resulted in a decrease in the total amount of applications processed. The impact of the job action will also be present when CIC releases data in Q3.

Can anyone interpret it and wheather it make any inpact on our FSW 2013.?

Thx for sharing.
Actually I read the handbook and call the docotors on cic list. What i know is that the blood Glucose is not tested normally. Blood test is for HIV, syphilis and hepatitis only.
However, if u r overweight (BMI over 24?) then u may need to test blood pressure etc.
Fortunately I lost my weight in the past 2 weeks.
What worrying me is that routine urinAnalysis will test uriNe glucose. If it is high, then u will need to have additional test on blood.
2 weeks ago my urine glucose and blood glucose are higher than normal in my medical check. every signal says I may have diabet.
So I am worried coz I heard this will prevent my visa.
Fortunately I went to hospital to check my urine again this afternoon and every signal is normal.

Maybe becoz my BMI is good now?

Pray for my ME this Saturday.

Good Luck :)

I suggest you to call on this number to get a status update about your application:

+1 613 944 4000

You have to go through few voice options & press digits according to your application made until you reach a point where you can enter your UCI number through phone dial pad. You must be able to get the latest update.

If it doesn't work, send another email requesting for a fresh status update.

Wish you good luck buddy.

Thanks for your wishes ABu. Have sent them an email as I am in no hurry. Will wait for 20 days and inform you about the outcome

I look forward to hear good news for you.

Blood work is done at random not on fasting. (My medical exam was at 14:30Hrs)
I don't think it is a disqualifying factor if blood glucose is above normal level. I guess blood check is done for HIV and not glucose.
You may like to confirm it with your Doctor's office where you intend to have your medical exam.

CIC medical exams are pretty simple. They will do urine microscopic analysis for presence of blood, -cyphillis- albumin, sugar etc. I don't think any abnormal figure is a disqualifying factor except cyphillis. They will do X ray for TB. If they find you have dormant TB bugs in your body, medical surveillance is required on landing. If you have active TB bugs, then it is a definite disqualification. Canada does not want immigrants to bring in contageous diseases and spread. They do not want people with terminal and serious diseases to immigrate and drain their economy.

Take it easy, you are not going for a fighter pilot's physical exam!

Is weight is something to be worry about and could disqulaify?

Dear DO not worry on this post see about NDVO they was having @ 3330 MI 1 applications as on 1st April 2013 (http://www.google.co.in/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CCgQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cic.gc.ca%2Fopendata-donneesouvertes%2Fdata%2F000023-eng.xls&ei=6g16UrS9KISMrQfqpoC4Bg&usg=AFQjCNEBGihfZ_EQZEKYQQjDRz1sCOfXuw&bvm=bv.55980276,d.bmk)

now if you see current movement on MI1 ( in forum different thread) than hardly you will find applicant without MR. in last 2 month NDVO has send much amount of MR/PPR/DM to MI1 applicants. as per my observation of forum data I feel @ 150-200 cases should be left in MI1. even paritosh got visa yesterday and passport today (I just meet him today with his passport with maple leaf, as in same city)

as per Kenny's tweet MI1 is to be clear than MI8 (FSW2013) will be initiated. again in different visa office different or no pending cases of MI1 so different processing time and few visa also for other VO

so what I feel is MI1 must be cleared before nov 2013. again Dec 3rd is last date for student visa for jan 14 intake. so NDVO will be free for us in dec 2013. this is my personal view based upon data available and forum info.

so I hope we may see first MR form NDVO in nov end or dec first week

Yes Ahmed, a bulky person would eat more than normal and may become a cause of food shortage in Canada.......JUST KIDDING :D.

I don't think so man. You may have seen photo of Mayor of Toronto City who is facing an issue of drug usage these days. He is really a bulky man. If weight would be an issue, he has never been choosen as a Mayor ;).

According to medical instructions, if your BMI (body mass index) exceeds certain amount then they will check your blood pressure also. That's it. Hopefully.

Dear Vats,

Is there any excel for MI1 applicants where we can see the progress.. like our excel for FSWP2013????

Or they make much better contribution to Canadian economy.
As they are consuming more food and goods and spurring by this overall economic activity. :P

No need to be fret out, overweight people, we still have time to lose weight before medical examination. Some of us have plenty of time.
If we plan to start a new life in Canada, better to do it fit, healthy and in better shape. ;)

I second your opinion Vats & the underlying available facts/figures. Hope to see MR rain from NDVO starting Nov end or Dec first week..
