Dear
Its difficult to confirm the things. what I feel from available data that you should be within the CAP of 300 (as still 120 is remaining and the waiting period form july end to sep end is 2 months)

better you check frequently the forum and as CIC has expedite the working you will come to conclude soon

thanks

It helps. :) Where did you get this info from?

Simple. I checked the CIC's website for the list of approved medical facilities in india to conduct the medical examination & then found that Fortis was approved for Bangalore. Called them up and found the cost. You can book today, go tomorrow & be done with it.
A word of caution though : Check & confirm with the hospital guys if you need to be fasting (Empty stomach when you go for the test)

Best Regards, :)

Hi, you can try to get UCI no via phone and than follow following

 Procedure to get CIC agent on phone
 Call at – 0016139444000
 Select 1 for English
 Then 1 for foreign affair
 2 for immigration
 Call is being transferred to CIC
 Then 1 for English
 2 for status
 1 for PR
 When it asks you to enter UCI number just be on hold n let it say it 3 times then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
 Agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.

 After getting UCI
 Call to CIC number and follow the IVR (112-121). In last IVR system ask you to enter your UCI
 Once you enter your UCI,
 If system directs you directly to agent without any announcement it's means your payment is not Encashed yet
 If after entering your UCI, you listen the announcement like " your application has received on xxx day" it's means you have been charged now wait for the PER

Thanks so much..well I m in Canada so I hv to call same numbers..rite

probably the same one (m not sure just check with others) but the procedure is same. take detail info of your brother's file as they will ask you if you are calling.

again you need to try many time till you get kind agent online who provide you info. this is exp of many forum members

best of luck

u r the early birds of SGVO . any update from u bro after ur file transfer ...?

its been already four month since PER...seems SGVO is on long hibernation... :( :( :(

Dear Ashif, SGVO doesn't send AOR to all. Around 50% may receive it. i.e. 50% may receive AOR then MR & rest of may receive MR without AOR.
Actually SGVO is one of the slowest VO amongst all. Look at the scenario of MI-3 applicants & u may guess some idea....If u r lucky u may get your desired MR soon. But most of cases u have to wait a lot.

If dd is not cashed, is there another way to know the status?

I have heard that lot of people don't get job in their profession and they do survival jobs until they get right job...i was thinking...how is the Idea of writing a GRE meanwhile,as it will take another 6-8 months to get a PR.then joining phd as its stipend will help us to sustain in Canada for some time and at the same time we can get a job after one year of phd...
Having said that i also want to mention that I don't have an intention to complete phd as i m not interested in research and just want to use phd as a tool to get job in industry and some financial support for some time...and yes I cant do MS as I don't have that much financial support..

Provide ur place of residence & CC charge date.

PhD is nice idea but I advise first you search university offering phd in your field and than follow admission process for that uni. (you can have 3-4 options)
