I think with these numbers announced by CIC, the 5000 cap won't be reached for FSW2013.
Till now 4 occupations reached their 300 cap and 6 others have 95+ applicants and probably will reach its 300 cap. This means that to reach the 5000 cap, each remaining occupation should have around 140 applicants which is hard to happen with occupations like 2143, 2145, 2154 & 3141.


My guesstimate is whoever is going to apply under any occupation other than the followings:
- Civil Engineers NOC 2131
- Mechanical Engineers NOC 2132
- Chemical Engineers NOC 2134
- Inspector in Public Health NOC 2263
- Physiotherapists NOC 3142
- Medical Lab Technologists NOC 3211.

They don't have to care that much about cap and they can apply anytime till April 2014... But for sure better to be early than being late, we never know what can happen.

So guys, what do you think about that?

The CIC Update numbers for NOC 2131 & 2132 is a surprise
My application recevd on 22-Aug in NOC 2131 and friend's on 22-Aug in NOC 2132.
What are the chances of getting into CAP. :-X :-X

Definitely they will check each application after CAP reached

If there is a arranged employment letter then they will proceed further otherwise just send a reply to applicant that cap reached

Hi All,

I have applied under NOC 0211, inside Canada
App. received 22 August
Presently I am working under NOC B category and attached the Canadian employer offer letter with my file. My points without adding Arranged employment and adaptability factor are 72.

Do CIC check the remaining received files once the cap is reached???
Or
Do they accept files with Job offer under skilled category beyond the Cap of 300??

Please suggest!!

Hello Prospective fellows, Anybody keeps updated information about London VO for FSWP 2013? else CIC is going to reroute files to other VO to avoid delay in processing?

LVO is in process of issuing VISA for 2011/11 cases.

Just saw somewhere (NOT ON ANY OFFICIAL WEBSITE), that every visa office (including LVO & NDVO) has to conclude all (FSW 2013 AND Backlog if any) the cases by Aug 2014.
I's just thinking that we - particularly LVO & NDVO applicants - should expect some thing to come from VO somewhere in Jan 2014......

I got the PER last week as a NOC 0211 12th July applicant, so in theory they should have checked your application before mine (due to the date of application).
However they have put so many NOC 0211 applications for checking in the last 10 days so you should wait a bit longer to see if your application was OK.

Please seniors I want your opinion , as I can notice that cic are processing the 15-17 July applicants from different noc's but according to the spreadsheet 2132 only 10th July is reported does that mean they are still processing 10th of July for noc 2312 or the forum members are not updating their info.

I am worried that I will not make it to the cap I am 19th July noc 2132.

Hi guys.

Thanks to admins and everybody who created this community, so we can share our knowledge and experiences. Wishing everybody good news on their process.

I have one tricky question.

I work at sea as an engineer on tanker vessels. I am onboard for 4 months and on holiday for 2.5 – 3 months. Right now I am on vacation, but will be joining another vessel in mid December.

I applied for immigration under NOC 2132 in May, 2013. My file was received on May 29th, 2013. My file is in Warsaw VO right now.

My status just says “We received your application for permanent residence on May 29, 2013.”

As I asked Warsaw Visa office, they got my file on October 2nd. And that’s it. I haven’t heard from them about any MR or other thing.

I read in previous messages of this thread. We have 2 months to have medical check, after getting medical request from the visa office.

So, my concern is, if the visa office requires me to go under medical check in December or January or February, it will be messed up, since I will be onboard from mid December to end of March.

What if I write Warsaw Office about my situation and ask them to send my MR after March 2014?

What do you advise me?

I must sort this out before December.

By the way, I filled up the form for the spreadsheet of this thread, but I can not see my name on the sheet.
