CIC is receiving applications and updating their count. This count includes what? Total no. of applications received in particular NOC or total no. of applications CIC accepted in that NOC?
For example in 0211 NOC updation shows 265 applications. Weather this count is showing total no. of applications received by CIC upto 15/10/2013 or it is showing 265 accepted applications out of more total no. of applications received.
Experts please help

Good question .... according to me nos. Mentiones is charged application and not total applications revceuved ......

The count is for no. of applications that has been charged (i.e. those applications which has got PER in majority of cases)

First of all 365 days are counted from the day you will receive your MR and Not visa stamping.
Yes it is possible that you complete the landing procedure, get your PR card which will take 50 days and will be mailed to a permanent mailing address in canada. After you get ur PR card you can revisit India and go back canada after an year. All the members who are included in the application including the Prime application should land there with in the specified time or else COPR will be rejected. Also as you are expecting your baby in november you have to inform this to your VO and they will assist you further on how to go about that. Because then there will be a change in your application status.

Awaiting MR needs a lot of patience, everyone vl agree

Meanwhile, I have a doubt.

Once all the process and god willing the visa is stamped, we need to land in canada before 365 days of visa stamping.
So can in land there finish the landing formalities, come back to India immediately for one more year (for some reasons!!!) and again go back to canada after a year? is it possible.

Also if am the principal applicant is it enough only i land there? or my spouse and a kid we are expecting in November should also land in the 365 days cap after the visa is stamped.

Finally, just received my AOR from NDVO. The file dated on 16/10/2013 and I got the email at 9:03AM today. I am a 27 May applicant.

Now the waiting starts for the next phase.
Good luck to all the guys who are waiting for their PER/AOR/MR..

Please update the info both in main spreadsheet and NDVO spreadsheet.

How do you know for sure that it is counted from MR receiving date and not Visa stamp date? Pls provide some backup.

Also, I just wanted to add some more info. I have seen people facing problem while applying for citizenship or renewing PR card (after 5 yrs) who travel and leave Canada often and spend terms staying outside of Canada. You will be asked of all your visits and terms outside of Canada. If you stayed outside too much (even though you spent at least 3 of 5 yrs of the PR term), you will be seen as not economically established in Canada and the PR renewal will pose problems. It is recommended to have a good initial stay at Canada so that no such problems are faced at the end of 5 yr of PR status or when applying for Citizenship.
It is advised for PR holders to have lived at least 3 of the 4 yrs before applying for citizenship. Hope people keep this in mind to not get troubled later. Be careful, countries like Canada and US can send you back during the renewal of next PR term. Don't give them any chance.

It is actually counted from the day you go for your medical examination (that is the day you are examined by the designated doctor) and not the day you receive your medical request from the VO.
