To order CAIPS notes / GCMS notes, Is it must to provide a proof like PR card, driving License, Canadian Passport, Bank statement or Bill etc??

My friend just arrived in Canada and he can apply for my GCMS notes but he does not have any official document yet except his apartment.

Can he apply by only having the address inside Canada considering the below mentioned point ??

As per the instructions for ordering the notes online at https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en, it is mentioned that "If you have mailing address in Canada, you don't need to provide any proof".

Good news is dat obamacare bill passed.. I think tomorrow govt offices will re-open.. So those who r waiting PCC frm US can finally relax :)

Hi,

What is the procedure for obtaining PCC while staying outside India?
We've been in Singapore for more than a year now, so we'll have to obtain a PCC from Singapore and other from India.

I am putting NDVO as my VO though, as we are not sure for how long we are in Singapore.

Can you please help in highlighting the process?

Thanks

So, I guess the link that I found could work for people in Singapore as 'Non-Resident Applicants should contact the Indian embassy or consulate':
hcisingapore.gov.in/passport-and-consular/police-clearance-certificates/

Usually, while in India do we require any letter of Requisition or Invitation beforehand or just place a request straightaway?

Dear friends,
I have a question regarding PCC, maybe guys who received MR can answer it, I had my PCC from Pakistan back in June 2012 in anticipation to the program would have opened at that time. The PCC I received doesn't have an expiry date, and I used it when I sent my file on May 2013. Do you think they are going to ask for a new one? My worry is that it took almost 3 months to get it through the embassy and if the VO asks for a new one, I won't be able to get within the 60 days they allow!!

Does any one has a recent update from LVO please?
This is now concerning, LVO is just not speeding up the process unlike most VOs. I'm sure no one has got MR from LVO.
It is well by the Grace of God.

They will definitely request an updated PCC, once they start to actually work on your file. PCCs are usually accepted, when they are not older than 12 months, and there are reports about them not being older than 6 months, too.

However, wait for a PCC-request before obtaining new ones, because you do not know, how long the process will take. Should you require more time than given bei CIC, you might just ask them for it explaining the situation - this should not be a problem.

My application reached cic on 11th october (NOC2131). Looking at current cap scenario, are there any chances that i will be in cap ?
Thanks.

It looks very difficult but as you have already submitted so just wait, may be there would be any miracle.

Indeed he can.

As far as he has an address in Canada, he can request GCMS note. Providing bills or any other proof is optional.

Good luck ...
