1) what is the content of PCC from Hyderabad/India? if possible please paste here without personal details?
2) does they mention from how long the person is staying on particular address in PCC?
3) is the PCC stamped in Passport or provide on paper?
4) Does they collect the passport when you apply for PCC and keep with them till we get PCC?

Below are the answers.


1) what is the content of PCC from Hyderabad/India? if possible please paste here without personal details?

The content says you stay in so and so place with dates and you do not have and criminal history. They check all the intelligence DB. Fingerprints are mandatory.

2) does they mention from how long the person is staying on particular address in PCC?

Yes

3) is the PCC stamped in Passport or provide on paper?

yes it is on a paper with your photograph and fingerprint.

4) Does they collect the passport when you apply for PCC and keep with them till we get PCC?

They don't collect your passport but will verify when you apply in person. you need to submit all the pages of the passport.
If you are applying in Cyberbad area then you need to visit Cyberbad commissioner-ate office at Gachibowli.and they explain the procedure. If it is Hyderabad city I think you need to visit your local PS for details.


Procedure:

1. You need to pay challan 500/- in Nampally in govt SBI branch
2. They will give you a challan number , which you need to mention in the online application
3. Take print about 2 -3 copies of online application and Copies of passport and aadhar card to the commissioner office.
4. They will guide you at the commissioner office PP section.
6. It will take 10 working days. Your finger prints, 6 photographs are mandatory, address proof are mandatory.

The painful part is to travel. I stay in medchal which comes under Cyberabad. I had to go to nampally , gachibowli and medchal, just imagine the time to travel.

Further, I have seen many posts today that members were arguing and comparing the working of different Visa offices. What I think personally is every Visa office has their own workload and I am sure that all the Visa offices are working very efficiently and as quickly as possible in order to clear the applications in time.

A request to all members that please don't send unnecessary queries to the Visa offices as it also takes lots of resources to reply the queries sent by the applicants.

My spouse's passport is stuck in processing and I am wondering if I can start her PCC in background.

Few of you shared a link to apply for PCC via the passport site but since her passport is still pending, is there any other way?
Can you get it directly from a police station? Anybody has tried it?

Follow this order, make sure you hear the number before pressing it.

They'll put you on hold for about 6 - 20 minutes.
