Hi should I do a case specif inquiry directly from their website or is there a direct email address for CIC London?
OK Got it

Sent a case specific inquiry from:

https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=london

and just received an automated email from: London-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca, that my message is received and they would reply in 28 working days

All the best... As in the case referred by pharmacistfarhan, May things turn around for you, GOD willing....

Hi All,

A novice question:
As per 'Photo Requirements' it is mentioned:
- Supply six (6) photos for each member of your family and yourself.

Does it mean:
a) my immediate family...myself+spouse+child?
b) my immediate family + each Additional Family members mentioned in the form Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) of my spouse & mine?

-Thanks

Dear Friends,

I have a question regarding my PCC application. I stayed in UK for an year and currently I am residing in India. I am going to apply for PCC from UK as I stayed there more than an year. Now here is the confusion. My passport has expired since I worked in UK and I now carry a renewed passport. Shall I give my current passport number or old passport number for my UK PCC application.

Any thoughts???

I have the same case and I sent my new passport copy along with my application and also mentioned new passport number in Application form without any explanation en received my PC from uk in 3 weeks.

Dear Nikhilbhatia,
I am also a NOC2132 applicant dated 3-Jul and I got my PER last week. So NOC 2132 cap will be filled by August applicants, and there is no place for September and later applicants. Sending your application for NOC2132 now is just wasting your time and money. Keep your IELTS and WES records for sending them on next year FSW program.
Good Luck ;)

Hi BabiJackson,

Are your able to check your "ECAS"????? Is it active for your.

I politely disagree with you. CIO didnt respond by saying " didnt you recieve the email sent on ........date (PER) " or " Your file has been transfered to Visa Office" they responded by saying that it is under review. That clearly means that CIO was receiving his application

I would kindly disagree with you either ;)
CIO sent an email to our applicant. They charged his account in time when they charged 6/6 applicants. But maybe the applicant gave mistakenly a wrong email or due to some error in the net email has failed to be received. Overall, CIO has no idea that he didnt receive his PER.
Therefore, in my view, app has been sent to LVO and there they reject it.
This info " We started processing your application on XXXXX" is issued along with MR. But LVO, after checking his app updated ECAS status and in the same time sent him an email with details about his case.

So sad for you buddy, DM prior to MR appears to be a rejection. Howsoever, write an email to LVO, give reference to your PER and file #, ask them to share the basis of DM - this you do right now, without waiting for their details to come to you first. One of my friend who applied in year 2009, also undergone the same sort of rejection, he wrote to LVO asking them to share the details...........................now my that friend is in Canada (in fact he flew two months back from now). Don't wait, write them now.

Apart from that, it appears that LVO has started processing the applications (as in this case the applicant applied on 06th June) so as I see, no news on our ECAS is good news so far.
Absolutely I agree with you.
Someone has written just a sec before, that as no news in ECAS as good so far. And we should agree with this statement also. :-X
I suppose, that early may applicants from LVO are on their way to receive MR. Anyway it is strange that nobody from LVO has added the second point (of course without the third one....God forbid!) to their status... I believe LVO sends MR by a regular mail hence this can delay receiving MRs, but ECAS status should be updated by now....strange.

Just to correct, I did not receive PER mail from CIO. When I sent a status inquiry email on 4 September, They replied back on 28 Sep saying my file was awaiting a review by an officer. This leads me to believe that they had not sent any PER and the file was still at CIO
