Experts,

I am planning to send my application today or tomorrow (07 Oct 13) under the category 2132. The current status shows 180 applications in cic website..

What chance do I stand if I submit it today..Or I do not standy any change and should refrain from sending the application..

Also, if my file reaches after my CAP is reached, will the return the file and still charge the money??

Thanks

Seniors, A clarification

I was able to see a few applications getting rejected, especially in 2174. Can CIC, include the applications received later as part of the CAP now that few applications have been rejected. Rejectors, no offence, just checking. Please dont mind

mAYBE CIC will implement pause on receiving new FSW application by May 2014 to have more time for EOI on Jan 2015. Same what they did last FSW 2011-2012 (previously they said they will accept new applications for FSW July 2012 after FSW 2011 but they paused and resume for May 2013 FSW program.

Perhaps, CIC will implement FSWP 2014 but reduce the total number of acceptable applications to 2500 applications with sub caps of 150 applications per NOC. This is based on previous MI trends.

Why are you scared of refrence check?, I see so many people asking whether they will ask employer or not, whether they will check back statement or not?
If we are genuine all these questions should not bother us.
Castro's apprehensions are pretty genuine and has got nothong to do with the submission of a genuine or ingenguine letter. Rather by asking such questions one can know about the trend. If there are frequent calls from VO to the employer, you can just sort of give a beforehand refresher to your boss about the call so that he stays bit prepared and responds properly to the call if at all it comes.
@castro - talking of my experience, there are barely any such calls from the VO, however the letter you submitted should sound like a genuine one and NOT a copy / paste stuff, best of luck

Dear Members,Please answer to my questions;

1- My spouse's has been changed recently for its proximity of expired date, I should inform it to Visa office, a color copy of new passport is enough or i have to certify it with an authorized organization and then send it for Visa office??????

2- I had some minor mistakes on form Schedule-A, should I send a new form to Visa office or don't highlight those minor items??????

Thanks for your guidelines

I wish too Sameer :)

Hello Seniors,

I just need to know few things :-

1. Who does the eligibility test whether one is eligible is for FSW or not. If I am not worng, thats been done my nova scotia, sydney and on the basis of that we get PER and after that AOR.
Is there any chance or case where Visa Officer sitting at Visa Office has rejected the application because he/she thinks that he is not eligible even after receiving PER and AOR mail.

2. Does Visa Office has authority to check our bank statements even if we dont provide them our bank statements. Can they pull out from the Bank.?

3. Does Visa Office do Cibil Check.

I request you guys to please put some light on above queries. I will be really grateful

All the best to all the FSW applicants. I wish we all get mapple leaf on our passports.

Thanks and Regards
Singh

1) Yes you are correct on this.
2) No they can't pull your account statement on their own.....they have to ask you only.
3) This question was also earlier raised...but seniors had said that no they donot do cibil check.(but still confusion
more opinions needed
)

Well guys, it seems like files are being transferred to CPP-O as act of load balancing. Overall objective is to meet the targets (Globally). This is a proactive measures taken by CIC and I welcome this idea. However, I am not sure how will they conduct the back ground checks & some country specific information or processes, but I assume adequate due diligence must have been taken before executing this idea by CIC.

Thanks for reply..If I am not wrong, one of our forum members got MR from CPPO instead of NVDO, how come CPPO had sent MR then
Does CPPO play any role in initial screening of applications?
