I just want to confirm it is the best method to pay fee as in other option it takes time like cc option get time to withdrawn money but in money order CIO knows it is the valid money so if the application is completed they right away approve the application.

My lawyer used this method of payment but am not sure what you want to know

Can anyone suggest me, do I contact CIC to get status of my application. my file was reached on 22nd July. still I have not heared anything from them.

There are 2 ways:

1. send a mail to CIC Nova Scotia to get the status of your application, you can expect a reply within 15-25 days (it could be more or less too)
2. You can call CIC call center and try and request to get the UCI no. and then keep checking that on ECAS. Its highly unlikely that they will give you the exact status of of your application.

In my humble opinion, trying out both ways won't give you much info regarding the exact status of your application (might give you a little peace of mind), so i would suggest that you should wait until you CC/DD gets charged/encashed and you get a PER Mail from CIC.

And yes, after PER mail there is wait for AOR mail (provided if your VO sends one), then wait for Medicals, etc. etc. and then the final Visa Stamping..

Sorry for not replying, I've just been a little busy lately, but I try to answer some doubts about my application:

1.-Yes, the request that I received last Tuesday, was from the Lima visa office
2.-Yes, I received a request for my Passport, MR, Bank statement and the payment for the Right of Permanence residence fee.
3.-No, I haven't been able to see my ECAS status online, for that reason I can't share it in the forum.

u should attach with application propr proof of residence, such as visa page copy, and some official documents as fees deposits, new visa application forms, proof of ur residence as rent agreemnt, or other document whch can be sufficnet reliable proof of residence. u can add that I will submitt my visa after renewl of visa from Norwey through a letter to canada immigration officer. but make sure other documents r ready with u..

after a refreshing break guess what was waiting for me @ home ....


My application sent back from CIC after a longgg wait

reason for rejection " THE EMPLOYMENT LETTERS FROM MY PREVIOUS EMPLOYER DOES NOT PROVIDESUFFICENT EVIDENCE THAT U PERFORMED THE ACTIONS DESCRIBED IN THE LEAD STATEMENT FOR OCCUPATION (MYCASE 3142.) or THAT YOU PERFORMED A SUBSTANTIAL NUMBER OF MAIN DUTIES OF THE OCCUPATION AS SET OUT IN THE OCCUPATION DESCRIPTION ."

SO my app was deemed incomplete .

Guys will need u all to tell me few things mean while I will have to go back to all my 4 employers to get the exp certificates redone (BY BEGGING THEM ).

1 > do I need to fill all forms once again or( just add the new exp letters with main duties described clearly and the set of all docs returned by CIC.

2> I have 5 y 10 months work exp in 3142 ie physio . to qualify as 3142 and claim 4+ yr bracket exp point Do I need to get all 4 previous employers
or any one of them where I have worked more than 1 year I should get a new certificate and rest all exp letters with designation /sal/number of hours /week and tenure . ( old exp without main duties ) can be sent and I can still claim 4+ years of work exp points ...

Please Advise guys
Will ask lot of other doubts very soon so please gear up MY target is to send the app again by tuesday evening

Dony from Lima could receive his MR exactly from CPP-O instead of Lima. His processing time is 68 days and he received his MR (app sent on 5/16) together with other applicants from CPP-O. Pls, Dony advice on it.

Lima has a target for FSWP 2013 only its backlogs: just 3 apps. It seems that this VO is really inactive. I was surprise hearing that someone's got his MR from there. There are also many other VOs which specified only their baclogs as a target for 2013. It is quite possible, that these VOs share their job with CPP-O.
Xbox's app was considered at CPP-O not because his previous attempts to study in Canada. He is not a primary applicant. NDVO probably left some files in Canada in regards to their backlogs and a large number of new applicants. Similar other VO's.

Friends, Congrats to those who received their PER/AOR/MR/RPRF after my last post. I have few queries.

1. Is CIC contacting the company HRs to verify the authenticity of the Experience letter and the duties/responsibilities of the Applicant in the company? The reason for my question is that my company HR who had signed the experience letter and provided her contact details in the letter(for any further information) has gone for Maternity leave for 6 months(she is expecting twins and thats why extended leave) and there will be no one to cover her emails and desk-phone. If CIC tries to contact her and does not get any response then my application might go for a toss. Should I inform CPP-O about her leave or shall I just wait?

2. I got the FBI Criminal Summary report for myself and spouse after I submitted the application. Shall I courier that to CIC now or wait for further instructions from them?

3. What is the importance of the "Destination in Canada" that they ask in the application? Does CIC have any preferred destination for specific NOCs that make the case stronger? Can I change the "Destination" during any time in the application process and can I land at a different destination while there is a different destination mentioned in my application?

This forum has helped so many applicants because of the selfless help from other members. Hope that we all meet some day in Canada

well regarding the first question only...how many persons on our forum got any reference checks till now?!! (away from one strange case in the past that was thought to be some kind of a joke between manager- employee )
i mean till now we hear of rejections due to lack of job descriptions letters or provided but not convincing job descriptions, not matching job duties,..etc...but did any body actually got reference checked???!! did they call ur HR or ur job seniors???!!! i don't think so...DEAR ADMINS and Co-FORUMITIES, PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG
