Dear Admin,

Please correct the spreadsheet.

I do not have any relatives in Canada and neither I have ever been to Canada.

Yesterday I checked my ECAS and now there is one additional line added that says:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 13, 2013.

2. We started processing your application on October 1, 2013

Small suggestion for ppl who are desperately waiting for next update..... Canadian PR means hell lot of patience.. that's what I have learnt...
If u can see, I got this update after almost 3 months,, as I gor PER on July 18 and there was no communication from CIO or NDVO. I was restless as ppl who applied after me were getting AOR from NDVO... So PR Mantra is wait and watch... its good to ask questions , but not that good to judge or speculate things,..we all have already crossed couple of stages and we will get good news soon...

All the best to all.

Dear XBOX,

WOW ! Congratulations !!

Yes you are right...Canada PR needs hell lot of patience..

My file was received on May 9 by CIO...but still haven't got second status update from London Visa Office.

Is NDVO = New Delhi Visa Office ? Looks like its faster than other VO's.

Dear Seniors,

Does London visa Office sends AOR ? or do they confirm receipt of file from CIO?

Via email if email is provided, else to mailing address.
How soon is not known for FSWP 2013 yet.

I have a question regarding settlement funds. Both my wife and myself are working and have our own bank accounts, FD's, Liquid investments etc. One of us is the principal applicant. For proof of settlement funds, can we submit statements from both our accounts as proof, OR do the proof only need to be from principal applicants bank accounts?

We have the same case, we submitted both our individual accounts and as per our consultant, it is valid to join accounts since we are husband and wife and it is considered as a conjugal asset.

Hi guys, need your kindly help. If I have lived in one country accumulatively for more than 6 months but each period I lived in this country is less than 6 months. Do I need to apply for the police check of this country?

"You and all of your family members who are 18 years of age and older and who are not already permanent residents or Canadian citizens will have to provide:

a valid police certificate, or
police clearance, or
record of no information.
These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18."

The above mentioned is from CIC website. As it says 6 consecutive months, so I think u dont need any police clearance.
