On 8th I have got the slot. Actually many Medical consultancies, will first ask your all file and uci details and then they ask current medical conditions( in case of women, they will confirm menstrual cycle) and accordingly they will fix a date. In India they are charging INR3500 per Adult:

" Rs 3500/- in Cash for adults ; Rs 1950/- for children (5-11 years) and Rs 1200 for younger children (<5 years)"

Guys My brother is in a serious trouble can anyone help on this matter. :

His birth certificate shows year 1980(Only BIRTH CERTIFICATE) where as his all the certificates showing 1981 (includes 10 certificate , passport and even on DG shipping licence).
So in that case what can be done. do we really need to attach birth certificate with the file or He can give all the documents where his date of birth is showing as in case of 10 class mark sheet its given Date of birth and father name.

Please help on this .

Show all the docs that have common year and attach a notarized Birth Affidavit. Ignore Birth certificate as if you never had it. I did the same.

Guys I showed my funds to CIC from one of my bank acc. I want to deposit this money in another foreign currency account of mine. Would there be a problem if i showed my POF from one account and when CIC asks me for the 6-12 months statement I provide it from another account. By the way this foreign currency account is the same one I used for my salary statements. Logically It shouldn't be a problem, but need a confirmation from the board.

I dont think so it will b problem. I did same last month. Transfered all my fund in $ account.

in my opinion u can renew.. as NDVO has nt started sending out MR yet.. n u hv enough time..
i renewed last year n got passport in one month..
infact i went to bhikaji (head office delhi ) n they handed me over there
n since u hv nt even received AOR so hv enough time to wait fo MR (like me :)
later on when u receive email frm NDVO to notify changes if any, u can send the copy of new passport of ur daughter..

Got the passport today at around 11:15 am. That was pretty quick for Tatkaal.

I, XXXXXX, s/o xxxxxxx aged xx yrs R/o xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under;

1) That my date of birth is dd-mm-yyyy (and in words) and place of birth is xxxx
2) That the same is detailed in my passport bearing No. xxxxxxx which was issued by the passport office, city name, Country.

I hereby reaffirm that the contents of this affidavit are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief.

Anyway, the notary does have their own format. You just need to tell them you need a birth affidavit. Carry your passport and Xth certificate with you as proof of your birth date.

My file was received on May 9 by CIO...but still haven't got second status update from London Visa Office.

Is NDVO = New Delhi Visa Office ? Looks like its faster than other VO's.

Hi Sinestra. I missed a lot while I was on international travel.

Just wanted to know were your passport going to expire that you renewed it. Mine's up for expiry in October 2014. Don't know when should I apply for renewal specially when my file is already in New Delhi VO and they can ask for it anytime.
plus I think I'll also have to update VO on travel history as I just came back from Thailand.
