now a days CIC is working on july 1st and 2nd week applicants (as per forum data). and than application return transfer time is @ 15-20 days.

Hi Sharmausct,

10 month time is the average time mentioned for processing in the AOR sent by NDVO. N YES AOR mail from NDVO is i believe having this timeline written.
For time on getting PR, a number of factor plays role like ur specific VO, security checks delay for few people, xyz. etc.

I think this mystery will only be solved next year of how long it takes to get PR for FSW 2013 applicants

In my PER mail it is written that
If your application will be processed through China, India, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Japan or the UK, you might receive information and an invitation letter from CIC about free in-person assistance. In order to participate in this service you will require an invitation letter from the CIC mission which will be sent to you during the later stages of the immigration process if you are determined to be eligible for it. You can access information about this free in-person assistance at www.newcomersuccess.ca . Actual participation in this in-person service is not a guarantee nor an indicator that your immigration application will ultimately be successful or that you will receive an immigrant visa

can anybody tell me what is this free in-person assistance?

Dear friends,

As the NDVO has mentioned 10 month average time on AOR, does it mean the total time that is required on an average at visa office? or it is the total processing time?

As the text of AOR says, IN THIS OFFICE and date of receipt of application in THIS OFFICE is also given, it means from the text it signifies that 10 month is from the date of receipt of application. What do you think?

However, we all know actual time may vary depending upon the complexity of the individual cases. I am trying to explore the meaning of the text only.

please share your opinion about it.

Please add my details to NDVO.@admin
