In short, the VO has rejected my letter of reference and given me zero points despite my 15 years of experience as a network engineer. I have 60 days to produce a more concise letter of reference, which I will be able to do. Without the points for the work experience, I'm at 55 points and disqualified. With the 15 points for the work experience, I'm at 70 points and qualified for the FSWP.

It seems that many applicants are having trouble with WES, but how about with letters of reference being rejected? The letter that I submitted was pretty good with a detailed job description and all the requested info such as start/end dates, 40 hour work week, etc. My experience in dealing with the HR departments of my previous employers has been extremely frustrating, with HR generating mundane letters without any job description. Fortunately, in the case of my current employer, where I've been for the past three years, I don't have to deal with HR.

CIC SHOULD have calculate your score before PER, it is rear to receive the email like you after PER.
I find you have received PER on 8/9/2013, did CIC say your applicaiton are elligable to proecess in per email?

Excellent points, many thanks. I hadn't thought of the business card. It sounds like I should get a letter from my team lead and supervisor, and not just from the staffing company. I should be able to.

have seen hell a lot of cases gone through - those with reference letters , appreciation letters print outs that were submitted - the idea is to show that the tasks claimed on work experience were indeed performed and they were not fake

liuzhiyong_1982 -- yes, I received an email from CIC in early August stating that my application was being to the VO after obtaining PER. My status since then has been awaiting AOR, and then this email came in today. I've been a network engineer since 1998 (NOC 2147). It's what I do for a living, and Canada think that my job description does not describe what a network engineer does. My new write-up is pretty comprehensive. If that doesn't work, I don't know what will.

I work from India and I have put experience letter with my job description at each level that I have worked....this letter is not on a company letter head instead it is on a A4 paper which was signed by my manager and also attached his business card. My company does not issue job description experience letter, they only issue a letter which shows my designation, DOJ as proof of emplyment. To support this I have attached my Payslips and Bank Statement showing my SALARY CREDIT, mistake that I did was did not explain why I put Bank Statement. I shud have atleast highlighted my salary credits in the Bank Statement....

I leave things to you God.....whatever I could do I have done and the rest is in your hands...please save everybody.

My Canada FSW application had reached Visa office on July 1st. My mode of fee payment has been by Demand Draft. I can see that lot of applicants whose forms have reached after mine have been getting their PER. Any reasons???

Update: Received ME and CPP request yesterday. I am not sure if I am going to meet their 30 days dead line, since I am travelling for next 2 weeks. Guess the FBI check itself takes about 6 weeks.
