then

2- immigration

CIC ppl on this number telling me that they dont have access to FSWP (Sydney) files filled from outside canada...

Is there any other option to call CIC to get status details??

Hi Guys,
I may need to get my FBI background check ready, this could probably save me some time when required. Could anyone let me know where to obtain the application form to complete the FBI check, and I heard it take a while to process about 10 weeks. Is there a way to obtain it faster?

Just keep on trying until the nice lady answers. ...
I'm serious .... most of members including me faced the same until you find a helpful person there to transfer your call to the authorized person who have access to the database. ... good luck.

Yes you need to start now, because you will be getting good news soon. You can google it, the instructions are online at the FBI site. You can ask the Canadian Embassy close to you to assist with finger printing we were told earlier to speed up the process. I know ours took about 7 weeks. OTHERS PLEASE SHARE INFO THAT CAN ASSIST DPK1234

Hi,

It won't take that much time. I have sent mine on July 5th and received back on Aug 8th.
You can get the application form from the FBI website and for the finger printing you can go to police station or any authorized agent. I live in Dallas area and went to a local authorized agent. Got the contact in craigslist. U can search for the agent in your area.

Whether you send them via email and you will get the reply within 20 working days.
Or as I told you try to call again until you find cooperation. .. ;D ;D

Sorry to guestimate: No...It is already 198 July-2 cap. There is July, august and september candidates waiting....If you have everthing ready it is ok to send the application...but I would say preserve for next opening...

Do we know for how long the entry visa will be valid? Some say that we have one year since the date of the medicals to land. Is there an easy way to extend the entry visa?
