Yes, NOC 2263 is very very specific profession. Around the world OHS and EHS professionals are performing some unique duties, but also a certain number of specific duties, depends of the country, region legislation etc.....subodh12001 said:Anahus and EmFor,
NOC 2263 is a very critical NOC, and everything should be very specific. Your referral letters should speak for your experience in Environment and Occupational Health and Safety. They should contain about the same duties as mentioned on the hrsdc website under NOC 2263.
Educational Qualifications dont matter. It is only your precise work experience that counts for qualifying under a particular NOC. So many applications are being rejected in 2263, but we cant be sure of the reason. Encashment of DD orCC does not guarantee that a PER will be issued.
In case in the stage 3 , eligibility stage, officer is not satisfied that your job duties match with those listed under 2263, he may reject the application.
Its a very very sensitive NOC, and one officer may differ from another with regard to matching of job duties.
So just pray, and hopefully you will get a positive response. Otherwise, both of you should give a call to CIC, as it has already got very late.

Unless you have lived in the U.S for up to 6 months you dont need to worry about FBI clearance.syham said:Hi ISLAND or veteran fellow: Is FBI clearance required from all countries applicants or specific ones? When would VO ask it?
you have to get it, try all possible options. Submit a request through the embassy and start digging in your old phone book for a friend who can help you there, the PCC doesn't have to have your fingerprint so a friend can issue it for you with copies of your passport and some luckmadman said:Dear Friends,
one question about PCC.
I lived in an African country for 2 years but now I returned home. However I forgot to et a PCC from there.
It is impossible to get a PCC from this country if I am outside and going back there is not even a subject to think about.
I have a clean record there but it is hard to get a visa back and also it is impossible to ask for PCC from its embassy.
How can I explain this to CIC ?
thanks
