Hi Vancouver14, I guess you can make it easily, since you are next in line. Expecting 2nd July charges to happen from today. But if you observe last cap update on 9th Sept, They were charging 26th June apps then and till yesterday they had reached only till 28th June, but cap update increased by 36. This is only freaking me out as I feel my turn will come only next week and praying that I should also be within the cap just like any other July/Aug applicants

+1 for your analysis

ACRO is for the UK PCC and roypp is talking about the Indian PCC which can be get through Inidan Embassy. It was a new information for me that it will take more than 45 days and I was under the impression that we will get tht in 1-2 weeks the max

Yes Cancalling is right. I am talking about the INDIAN PCC.

It would take long time.

So guess i should wait till i have been asked by CIC/VO. ???

Did you send your PCCs with your original application? If you did, then I would wait to see if the VO asks for the US one. If you haven't sent in your other PCCs, then I would include a US PCC when you send the rest.

Hi Ezhisa,

As per my calculations last update was till 20th June applicants and yesterdays update is till 25th /26th June applicants. Lets hope for the best..

Kstd512 has got PER yesterday and CC charged on 17th. His app was received on 28th June as per the spreadsheet. So the next immediate date in 2147 is 2nd July and am expecting updates from you and AAM Pursuit. Fingers crossed

Roypp can you please explain the procedure to get the PCC from Indian Embassy London..

There is a form available in Indian High Commission Website "http://www.hcilondon.in/police.html".

You have to fill up the above form. Submit the form along with the copy of your INDIAN PASSPORT/FOREIGN PASSPORT (must copy the INDIAN VISA page). They take GBP 22 for this service.

You will see three queues in INDIAN HIGH COMMISSION in LONDON. You have to stand in shortest queue which is for OTHER CONSULAR SERVICE. Ask the security, he will show you.

It seems that your visa office is in New Delhi. Please don't be confused. The above procedure is for the people who currently staying in LONDON but lived in INDIA over 6 months.

You can apply at HCI in London - its pretty straight forward, fill the form, pay the fees and you need to take original passport with visa.
More infor @ http://www.hcilondon.in/police.html

you can also apply at Birmingham as well if it's closer to you.

It will take two weeks approximately as they have to get clearance from India

Hi Roypp.. thanks for the information. For husband and wife ,both has to go or only husband can go and submit the form on behalf of wife also.
FYI.. I am in London but my Visa expires in January 2014 and thats why I kept Visa office as NDVO.

I am not sure. But you can try.

The officer of Indian High Commission is helpful.

Call him SIR. :)
