what about 2263 applicants who applied in May, please suggest me i applied on 18 may 2013 and till date no update from Cic.

Also, it might be opened, but just sitting to one side somewhere, amoungst all the other applications, waiting to be put on the system (and reviewed maybe). How long that takes, who knows. But for your info, I emailed CIC and after 20 days, they replied and said they couldn't find my application find, having checked name, DOB etc and told me to wait 3-4 weeks due to the amount they have. That email was received 30.08. Another week to go I guess until I hear from them.

2132 Mechanical Engineers

My application reached Aug5.

How long I have to wait. Is there any chance to fall in 300 Cap for 2132.

Its all about experiences from this forum,
Be active in this forum and U will learn more than the Ministerial Instructions and other documents posted on CIC wesbite. ( no pun intended) Its my opinion and I know 1 person will definitely disagree with this ( though in Hibernation these days) .

Thank you for replying. I often wonder how do you guys know these things, like LVO usually sends MR directly. Where do you get to learn all this? I would love to read if you know of resources linked to fsw

I know. But I applied for NOC 2174, which was very popular, so this was probably filled by the time mine reached CIC. My guess is, based on forum activity and users feedback, is that all early June applicants for 2174, and onward, are stilling in a queue somewhere, waiting to be returned. And since they have to have a UCI number, that takes time as well (data entry). So you would think CIC would put the application in a jiffy bag, write your address and post it via air mail, then send an email to inform you its coming back. But no, they have to issue a UCI number on something that cant be processed! wtf!
Im off on holiday in 2 weeks, I'm just thinking about that and looking forward to some time away...I'm not going to worry about something I cant control

did u send mail to.co and have u got sci if what shows.i applicant and just got sci but not.per.i think they bit slow.in dealing 2263n urn ecas me 6 th June 2263

Freddy2147, you are a good man and may goodwill follow you always. I just received my PER a few hours ago at 13:15 hours.

Date of DD encashment : 6 September 2013
Date of PER receipt: 12 September 2013

Admins, please update the spreadsheet. And assist me to change my visa office to Accra. I wish the best to all my fellow 2147 NOC applicants. The CAP is not full... So hang in there and be positive!!!

Ahh but many people though they ask are not prepare for you honest response. Hence I have many -1s . It is good to advise then to visit the spreadsheet and look at CIC's total intake thus far as well as the totals from this forum, but alas some are still upset and believe you to be a naysayer and a negative person. Immigration is very challenging and persons get VERY emotionally and financially invested, as expected they sometimes take the disappointment in a bad way.
