Hey guys! I had sent an email to CIO about my application. Today i received reply from them that we have no record of ur application in our database. Whats this?
Application received at CIO on 3rd july signed by dexter.
It was through UPS courier

2ndly is the address correct

Can you please advise on the date you sent them a mail? Have they responded within 20 days or after?

In addition to that please keep in mind that you have 5+years of experience ( I checked in tracker), I hope this experience and proposed employer experience is from category A ,B OR O level , if so then when you will complete 6 years at the time NDVO take you case in hand they will again consider total 6 years experience(this is assumtion based example).This matters if ndvo tally your score at that time and therefore you MUST send employment related update to NDVO. Though you have secure 67 points at the time you apply cic you should let them ndvo know max numbers of years.

Below is general thought, not specific to you or any person.

Second ,reason to let them know is, they are interested our activity since the age of 18. So we must have to show whatever we are doing. In 2009 one of my friend's friend loss job in USA and he update to buffalo vo. And mentioned searching job . But he got visa. Meaning they are interested whether you get 67 points , clear security and medical and no hidden story. They are very much happy to issue visa.

You are right bro....its not mentioned in the AOR ...but yes its mentioned in the PER mail.... I have just now gone through it once again...
Please inform the visa office of any changes in your application (e.g. birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, submission of an Arranged Employment Opinion approved by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc). Please include a letter identifying what the changes are and any relevant supporting documents.

they replied after 25 days.

Luqi, had the same thing: that they couldn't find my application even though its sent. I think that means that it hasn't been put on the system, and its sitting somewhere in a pile, waiting to be opened (or at least put in the system to assign a UCI )

My application was returned on 1st August but still hasn't reached me here in India. Any idea what is the time frame for this ?

its around 40 to 50 days ....mine was reach to me in 44 days....may dis help u.

Also, it might be opened, but just sitting to one side somewhere, amoungst all the other applications, waiting to be put on the system (and reviewed maybe). How long that takes, who knows. But for your info, I emailed CIC and after 20 days, they replied and said they couldn't find my application find, having checked name, DOB etc and told me to wait 3-4 weeks due to the amount they have. That email was received 30.08. Another week to go I guess until I hear from them.

Luqi; I wouldn't not stress too much, if you have sent it and its confirmed, then its there. Just a matter of time until you hear from them, be patient. If its been more than 80 days, then maybe try calling CIC. Perhaps you hear something next week when the next cap update is due.

I got plenty of useful info from here which I wouldn't have known from my consultants..

1) I didn't know CIO can be called to obtained the UCI.
2) I didn't know about IVR.
3) When I was in trouble with WES-CIC Access, forum's input prompted me to chose the right pick.
4) I had no idea how and when ppl get PER, AOR etc.
5) Numerous other bits that helps me to stay on track.

All in all, this is forum is pretty far from being USELESS ...

Further, many members from this forum would get PR eventually and who knows, they may also build close personal networks once they are in Canada ... The point is, participating in this forum does help.

YES this forum is EXTREMELY USEFUL... I will be surprised if somebody says otherwise...but people make unacceptable and scary comments here that should be checked, let us not overlook that...Trust me I have already seen people concluding that 2147 cap is full and they do not make it look like is an assumption. Even saying that cap limits of 2147 will increase from 176 to 250 in less than 2 weeks for example is a weird assumption...

God bless all admins and everyone making calculated and somehow accurate predictions on this forum... please let us all make some efforts to do some simple statistics before we post critical things like cap limit guesses here.

So happy today...updating myself to LIGHT BLUE. ;D

Friends, update - I received my AOR mail yest from NDVO .. It says processing time is average 10 months for this visa office.

Congrats.. Does it also say dat if nothing heard wid in 6 months contact us?

Dear All,

I have resent my application on the 11th Sept, as I got it back deemed as incomplete. I don't know whether it will make it within the CAP or not but as all you friends said to send it, I did. Admins kindly update the information on the spreadsheet. Will keep you posted on any further developments.

I called CIC twice at 0016139444000 and the two times male agent answered and said he couldn't give me any information about the status or about UCI number and said that I should call CIC in Nova Scotia. So this isn't the right number to call CIC from outside Canada?

Please advise me.

i guess it's a little early. (my app 3rd july) i should expect it till 20th september as in this forum i can see 24th june and 26th june are having their cc charged.

Many newbies ask question like "will my application be within the cap" and some members do give their honest OPINION that they may not be within the cap. There is nothing wrong. Just simple input and output.
