These forumites have helped numerous people and it is a happy, collaborative, helping community. Take your bitterness some where else. If you do not believe in the information on this forum or the spreadsheet, fine, no one is forcing you to believe that. You have no idea of hand holding that happens here and the forum has become integral family by now.

You don't have to be an athlete to suffer from athlete's foot !hbushra said:This forum has no right to discourage other people who didn't make it to the CAP or still waiting to hear something from CIC.
None of the champion or hero members are Visa officers, immigration lawyers or consultants. Also, this spreadsheet is of no USE. it is based on assumptions and not the actual FACTS. Does it say anywhere on the website that the CAP is based on CC/DD encash? or PER email rcvd? NO !
The only authentic source of information is CIC.gc.ca
And by the way, all those who received PER emails there is no guarantee that their application will get thru. infact if they are dropped out in a later stage all the other completed applications will be considered.
Good job Sinestra, thanks for compiling such valuable information. +1 for your efforts..sinestra said:Dear forum members including Lamia,
I have just created a thread titled
Compilation of Landing Experiences
This is for the purpose of setting our expectation right on what we can expect in our initial days in Canada.
This wealth of information is scattered throughout the forum and I thought it would be useful if I could post them in one place.
Please note that this is work in progress.

perseverence said:The answer is YES, inform them about it, if you joined already, with whatever documents in support can be provided. You may want to note that you are already eligible in the NOC you are for processing, so this job reference may have no impact on your eligibility criteria, so there is no harm. Send all the docs, and additionally fill out the online enquiry form.
All the best.
the forum information are form experience of individual membershbushra said:Thanks Susan,
But i have seen many star and champion members saying straight NO to the applicants that their applications won't make it to the cap. As if they are immigration consultants. Are they?
The forum's intention should be to help other applicants and not giving false and inaccurate information.

As in the AOR it is mentioned -

divorce, you must advise this office (see address, fax number and email address below).
You must also inform us of any:
1. Change of address, including change of e-mail address;
2. Change of immigration representative;
3. Request for withdrawal of your application.
Please suggest....
