Please keep us in the loop about the status of your fee encashment. We really need to know what's going on with NOC 2147 since June 20th. Thanks!
P.S. Dear Admins please update the spreadsheet at the earliest upon receiving any update on 2147.

I don't know if this counts as an update, but yesterday and previously I could not get any information from the CIC agents (especially the one called Mark). But today, I was able to use the UCI from my previous visa on the CIC IVR and the update I got was that my application was received on the 24th of June. No PER ... yet! So, I'm still waiting. I seriously doubt that the 2147 CAP has been reached. But believe me, when I receive my PER, you guys will be the first to know. I'm going to keep you all awake all night!!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

So Occupations mentioned in 12 B, should also be mentioned from the List of 29 Occupations that CIC has released???

OR, it needs to be your designation and function in the last 10 years of work???

Please check your inbox. I responded in detail.to your PM...
A>>>>>should be on the 29 occupation list and at least 1 (ONE) job in B should correspond to your chosen Noc category from the list or 29.

I agree completely this forum has become way to big to really help others, esp new members. All the congratulations, regrets, condolences and the jokes only make it tough for others to use this important resource in the best possible way. Please keep the larger interest of the community in mind.

Fellas,

This forum is growing too fast and is getting filled with unwanted information.
In the light of keeping the essence of this forum intact, I have few recommendations:
1) Please do not congratulate folks on getting a PER, AOR, etc.
2) If an application is rejected, please don't over sympathize. Indeed it is a big setback for the individual, but come to think of it, 70% of this forum is now filled with useless congratulatory and condolences.
3) Please make an attempt to go through the FAQ created by JIGSZY. Trust me, it is very simple to understand and most of your queries are answered in it.
4) Before posting a query, if you don't find answer in the FAQ, search for it using the search function on this forum or Google. If you are not able to find any info in your searches, you must post your question here.
5) If someone has posted useful information, please click on “Good” so that they get a +1 and they are motivated.
6) Avoid posting loud and large graphic files. We know you have talent, but this is not the place to show that.

I know that this may not sound pleasant, but in the end we all look forward to this forum and it will look better if it is devoid of irrelevant text.

No one knows...each VO is different....your file goes in a queue depending on how much/if any backlog they have and now the strike is a big factor.
Also quota alloted to each vo, like ndvo has quota of 13000 each year

Dear Forum Members,

I am thrilled to report to this esteemed fraternity that I have received my PER yesterday Sept 11, 2013. My UCI is 909xxxxx. Kindly update the spreadsheet.

I would like to reiterate that the efforts put in by the moderators and other contributing members are invaluable. Please keep up the good work.
