regarding POF... mine is in the form of millionaire's Certificate i bought from the bank in the amount equivalent of 11K+ cad...
if the visa office will ask me for 6 months bank statement, can i just show them the millionaire's cert?
coz i havent touched the money since then...

it is like a bank deposit ... but youre entitled to a raffle draw worth 1 million...

Hi All Well Wishers

Got the AOR email yesterday afternoon from NDVO. What a great relief. The entire waiting process is really very sterssful and hard to believe.

So on an average, its been approx 2 months to get the PER from the date of application received and approx 2 months to get AOR.

Hoping the same trend continues and will get the Medical, PPC request email in next 2 months.

Thanks , no here is some clause . Like you shown BNK cerificate 11CAD while submit the application . Then VO aks you for statement 6 months latest , then you have provide the statement since that day to previous 6 months ( Exmpl : your statemnt submitted by bank 10th Sept i.e. previous six months March 10th I mean 10th March to 10th Sept ) , you shown 11CAD then what will happen after six months no transection ??? VO will just to know your salary status, income source, social status etc. with the bank statement , If no transcection then where you got those 11CAD ?? here is lot of Qes. So it is better FD for safe side .

May be I'm wrong , Senior pls.

coz im thinking of withdrawing it and depositing the money in my account,

but if they want 6-month bank statement,, there may not be enough time becoz we are expecting visa office to check in 2-4 months...

Im a 2174 applicant from may 14. My fee was encashed on july 16. A month ago, due to the lacks of news, i wrote an email to cic asking for the status of my application. Today they finally answered back with:

"Your file is with our office and is awaiting completion of initial processing. You will be contacted in due course."

I don't know what to think(am i in the cap?..what exactly is initial processing after encashing fee?)

What do you guys think?

Yeah heard the same thing, it is very difficult to verify Bank Statements for any party other than Government Organizations without authorization ... But if the case is Student Visa, some banks seems to comply with the embassy ... anyway congrats to ppl getting AORs... !

They can verify the authenticity of the bank statement you submitted but have no legal right to want to know the amount of money you have kept in your account. If they for any reason decide to verify if the proof of fund you submitted is genuine, then indirectly they would be comfirming the balance of ur account when u were submitting ur application.

Consultant say they've got MR in email as well as Hard Copy ... and probably take 3 months after AOR.
