Thanks for your advise LAMIA , I called up the number
At the first go , RALPH answered my call and gave the same lame excuse that he does not have access to outside CANADA application databse.
Since many of other members have shared their experience ,u need to be lucky to get UCI from them at the first go
So I called them again , fortunately for me this time the said sweet lady answered my call .
She gave my UCI number right away. however said she does not have access to status information on my application.
I checked my UCI online and it says
"We were not able to identify you using the information you provided."
I hope she has given me the right UCI number .
Is there a way I can verify /cross check my UCI number
Please suggest .

From your dates I can guess that by the end of this week your turn in coming.
And InshaaALLAH .... your UCI will come to you itself.

Finally received a email from CIC ... answering about my file status..

Dear Sir/Madam:

Please be advised that your application was received on May 23, 2013. It is currently awaiting review by an officer. Notification will be sent in due course.

What do the colours stand for..????

2147, 2132, 0211 are becoming the hot categories. So CIC will look to fill up these first so that, new applicants do not keep sending the applications, and burden the CIC for sending those applications back to the applicants due to CAP full.

Are there few examples in NOC Code 2174 whose applications have been returned back due to cap limit?

I have seen couple of instances for NOC code 1112 but none for 2174. I am 2174 applicant and striving to keep hopes alive.

If there is any forum member, please write. or if other members have seen post related to 2174, please point to page.
