OK

01. As far as I understood, your first ECA report only had your UK Masters evaluated. But your second ECA report had both your Bachelor and Master Evaluated. But how did you manage to get the first ECA for your Masters without a Bachelors degree record submitted?

They have only carried out Masters and added pre requisit as Bachelors degree on it.

02. ICAS have clearly mentioned an average processing time of 6-8 weeks AFTER receiving a complete application. So with ICAS it does take around 3 months if you are not upgrading and submitting a complete file. Again it depends on case-to-case basis.

03. I am not very well versed in the medical and pharmacology fields. I think her field does not entitle her and obligate her to get a ECA from the Medical Council of Canada. (Other forum members please add to it).. If you go to this link:

http://cicic.ca/403/Occupational-profiles-for-selected-trades-and-professions.canada

.and enter the NOC code for your wife's profession, I think 3131 (Pharmacists): you go to the following page:

http://cicic.ca/684/Pharmacists.canada?noc=3131.

Currently her educational profile (and if she is also working in a pharmacological job), do not entitle her under the 29 eligible occupations to be eligible for the FSWP 2013. But you could get her ECA done from any of the designated bodies by CIC. I would prefer WES, because they are quick. I don't think you need her ECA from the Medical Council of Canada.

With WES , can I post the university credential by myself or the university needs to directly issue it?

P.S.: BUT REMEMBER: THESE ECAs are only for FSWP/Immigration purposes. Her profession is REGULATED in ALL Canadian provinces. The ECA DOES NOT ALLOW your wife to practice Pharmacy in Canada (If her degree is earned outside Canada) unless she passes/gains approval of the regulatory bodies mentioned here for each province:

http://cicic.ca/684/Pharmacists.canada?noc=3131

Hope this helps........ :)

Thanks for the overall reply

Re: Old Schedule 3 form used -what to do?

SCHEDULE 3 was the major change in FSW2013 because:

-It includes SPOUSE IELTS SCORE
-It asks for your Occupation category AND your Job Responsibilities, based on which you will get the VISA
-It asks for Your ECA REPORT IN ORIGINAL.

Send the application again. Quickly
You mean I should send the whole application package again? Or just new Schedule 3 form filled will be ok?
Thanks in anticipation.

congrats Kunal.... ;D

I told her that I dont have any info since I sent my application on 15th Aug. She told me not to worry, you will have something by 20th Sep 2013, as they need to complete all applications received till 31st August by 30th September.

I heard from one of the agents that After 30th Sep, CIC is going to have a mid year review, as this is a new process this year. This review will include the CAP Status as on 30th Sep 2013, back logs, pendency etc and their updated targets for 31st March 2013. He was telling me that this happens every year. So during this review they can take any decision ranging for completion times to increasing the Cap Size for categories where no. of applicants is high, though overall maintaining the 5000 limit, as some Occupations have very few applicants. He meant to say that they can review and revise anything as this review team will include the Minister, Mr Kenney. So some new announcements may come after this review.

Keep all your hopes Alive.

If this possibility is true... then we need to wait some weeks more to confirm if any of 1112 and 2174 applications would be returned because of CAP filled. Do we have any confirmation of returned application due to CAP limit yet?

With that, it would become very difficult to implement.
