Just got a confirmation from my consultant that he has received my PER, but he is on leave today. My ECAS status is "in Process" & it says your app was received on 12th June' 2013.
NOC 2132
I will let you all know the exact details as soon as i receive that email from him tomorrow.

Just received confirmation of file received (say AOR) at local visa office, in my case in New Delhi.

Old Schedule 3 form used -what to do?

Could you let me know what to do now that I realised that I filed my app with old Schedule 3 form?
I have still not got any file no.? Just know that is received on 22 July - NOC - 0213.

Thank Hassan. This was well explained. I have another question? I am a 0211NOC applicant and is expecting some in news InshALLAH in a week or two. I had my ECA done through ICAS. I paid the fees on the 27th April 2013. I had ECA carried out for tow universities. One BACHELORS from India and Masters from UK.The UK assessment credentials was issued by the university directly by mid of May 2013 and I received my ICAS credential assessment done for my masters BY THE 26th June, almost 6 weeks. I posted my FSW-13 package on the 30 June and it was delivered to CIC on the 4th of July.

Thereafter ICAS mailed me revised ECA on August 1st which was received by me on the 24th August 2013. the revised ECA report from ICAS consisted of my Bachelors as well as Masters. To be on the safer side I have posted the revised ECA report to CIC on the 1st of September and it is confirmed received today.

To cut short the whole ICAS scenerio costed me 3 months.

My real question is, I plan to have my wife ECA carried out, she holds a Bachelors in Paharmacist and Masters in Hospital Management. I was wondering in case I am not selected (may GOD forbid), I want to have the ECA done for my wife and keep it ready, in case her NOC becomes active sooner.

Which ECA should i choose now?

01. As far as I understood, your first ECA report only had your UK Masters evaluated. But your second ECA report had both your Bachelor and Master Evaluated. But how did you manage to get the first ECA for your Masters without a Bachelors degree record submitted?

02. ICAS have clearly mentioned an average processing time of 6-8 weeks AFTER receiving a complete application. So with ICAS it does take around 3 months if you are not upgrading and submitting a complete file. Again it depends on case-to-case basis.

03. I am not very well versed in the medical and pharmacology fields. I think her field does not entitle her and obligate her to get a ECA from the Medical Council of Canada. (Other forum members please add to it).. If you go to this link:

.and enter the NOC code for your wife's profession, I think 3131 (Pharmacists): you go to the following page:

Currently her educational profile (and if she is also working in a pharmacological job), do not entitle her under the 29 eligible occupations to be eligible for the FSWP 2013. But you could get her ECA done from any of the designated bodies by CIC. I would prefer WES, because they are quick. I don't think you need her ECA from the Medical Council of Canada.

P.S.: BUT REMEMBER: THESE ECAs are only for FSWP/Immigration purposes. Her profession is REGULATED in ALL Canadian provinces. The ECA DOES NOT ALLOW your wife to practice Pharmacy in Canada (If her degree is earned outside Canada) unless she passes/gains approval of the regulatory bodies mentioned here for each province:

SCHEDULE 3 was the major change in FSW2013 because:

-It includes SPOUSE IELTS SCORE
-It asks for your Occupation category AND your Job Responsibilities, based on which you will get the VISA
-It asks for Your ECA REPORT IN ORIGINAL.

Yes .. But Australia requires 7 in each band of IELTS which is quite tough.

Australian immigration requires a min of 6 in each band and NOT 7.

Wow, great news. Second AOR news from yesterday from NDVO. I just hope the PAFSO strike gets over and they start processing applications much faster.

7 is not a problem for my case as I have 8 in each.

You are over-qualified . You are good to go.

And Yes, there is a cap limit too.
