Who is the primary applicant: you or your brother-in-law? Are you informing the LVO on his behalf??

I believe we are asked to submit our sibling details as well, hence the question. Obviously I am the primary applicant. I have seen enough of applications being rejected out here due to tiny discrepancies. So I better be safe than sorry.
Thanks for the sarcasm btw. Seems like you got it all figure out. Good for you.

I don't really think Zolter statement had any sarcasm..
Coz even in my case my real bro is in canada fo studies.. n he recently changed his address.. bt personally I wil nt bother CIC fo dat.. till they ask me to update any changes ..

Rest we all hv personal preferences. . So do as u like

@ Stranger Friendlt...check what it says in 12a...it says identify noc to access weather your application meets minimum requirement to access.... so if you ave 1 year continuous or in parts exp in one of 24 nocs you are eligible to process...it wont say for it would be used for points.... for which it clearly says any noc from o,a,b.... but for gettin those years counted (of non primary occupation NOC) you have to have eligibility which is proved once one of the years is in one of 24 NOCS.... hope it makes clear...for more

Factor 3: Work experience (maximum of 15 points)

You will receive points for the number of years of full-time paid work (or the equivalent in part-time paid work) you have obtained within the last ten years. Full-time means at least 30 hours of paid work in one week.

You must have at least one year of continuous full-time, paid work experience (or the equivalent in continuous part-time work) in the primary occupation you specify in your application.

In order to receive points for all of the jobs you have had over the past ten years, your work experience must be in one or more occupations listed in Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or B of NOC 2011. Follow the Determining your NOC category instructions above to find the NOC 2011 category that matches your skilled work experience over the past ten years.

You must provide proof of your work experience with your application. Refer to the Document Checklist (PDF, 240 KB) for more information.

Estimate how many points you will receive for your work experience:

Work Experience Points
1 year 9
2 – 3 years 11
4 – 5 years 13
6 or more years 15

for point system it nva mentioned the word primary occupation but mentioned before that wile clarifyin eligibility for processing your points for work exp.... hope it clears the air

You got +1 from myside......thanks for correction!

Will CIC be working today as they were working on saturdays last month???? waiting for the PER

WILL CIC BE WORKING THIS SATURDAY AS THEY WERE DOING LAST MONTH...WAITING FOR THE PER.....

It is ok. We are all tensed up. Since you have responded to my question, the answer to your question is: you don't need to inform the VO. Hope it helps.

Dear friends,

I like to share a pathetic experience with you. And I know there are lots of people are on the same boat. However, I don't know why is this happen? For applying under FSWP I had to sit in IELTS. I got Band score 7( r= 7.5 l= 8, w=5.5 s= 6). I had broken down and I appeared again in IELTS in 2 weeks. 2nd time I got band score 6.5 (r= 7 l= 7.5, w= 6 s= 6). I have filed the application with this score to save time, While I challenged the 1st result and got the result changed ( r= 7.5 l= 8, w=6 s= 6.5)this week. It means that I have lost money, little time and some points as well. I also informing you that I have done my Master degree from UK. And I achieved Band score 7( r= 6.5 l= 7.5, w= 6 s= 7) in UK before getting admission in Sheffield Hallam University. This is really ridiculous.Isn't it??
