I am a June 2010 applicant from New Delhi visa office (India)

I have a query friends. My present residential address is different from the address mentioned in the Passport. If I apply for a PCC from Reginal passport office/Passport Seva Kendra:

1. How much time will be taken by Passport office to issue PCC?
2. Is a physical verification of the present residential address conducted by the Passport office?

Yesterday I called CIC call center & got my UCI number but no update on application status.

1. Is it a positive sign to have a UCI assigned? Is there still possibility of rejections due to application incompleteness ?
2. Anyone in this forum got rejected after getting UCI? (excpet for CAP fillup)

Hi All,

I am June 18th applicant.
Yesterday I called CIC Call centre and asked whether they could find my Client ID. After giving my name and Date of birth the call centre agent told that he found my name in the system, but the only details he can see is my application received date ie.18th June 2013.

On my previous attempt to get the UCI number last week, they told that they couldn't find any information about me on the system. Is this a positive sign that they started processing my file or at lease my file is not rejected till now?

Experts please comment.....

This means that they started in checking your file.....keep praying please.
Hopefully you'll celebrate getting your PER so soon.
