Hi All,

I am June 21st applicant of 2174, I am very much sure that am out of this game.
Kindly let me know whether I can cancel by DD as it will take roughly 2 months to
get my file back, by that time my DD would have been expired.

Please provide ur suggestions on this.

I am in the same boat as you, I applied June 15th, still no news. I paid with CC so I don't need to cancel. But I would email CIC for an update and then decide if its worth cancelling. I have already emailed them myself and should hear from them today (today is the 20th working day, August 30th).

After somedays, call CIC again and when the IVR option ask you to put UCI put is and then while it ask for your birth year, enter and if you hear that they received your application on a date (by an automated voice)

be cheerful and pray
as your PER will be on your way

Dear etha4u my application recd on 05/06/13 still no news same as yours and method was dd same as yours even people whose application recd on 10 are receivein per so i m so tense also my agent has done mistake by not filling travel form ??? ???

@shwcan - have you tried sending in the travel form in the hope of updating your application? (it's a long shot as in most cases it would be returned, but won't hurt much to try).
