@ shwcan - have you tried sending in the travel form in the hope of updating your application? (it's a long shot as in most cases it would be returned, but won't hurt much to try).

Let's hope that having the UCI is a good sign! I pray you succeed.

By the way - be sure to get rid of your agent, they shouldn't let that sort of thing happen.

I am in the same boat as you, I applied June 15th, still no news. I paid with CC so I don't need to cancel. But I would email CIC for an update and then decide if its worth cancelling. I have already emailed them myself and should hear from them today (today is the 20th working day, August 30th).
