I got UCI no by calling CIC yesterday does it means they have opened my file? can rejection possible after assigning UCI due to incomplete form?

ECAS status is not showing anything?
Any other option of knowing status of file

I expressed my thoughts .. and said "I agree with you" if the job duties are related and overlapping. At the end of the day .. it is up to the visa officer.

But I said one yr full exp as lecturer and 9 yr as programmer... both are entirely diff work profile...duties as well as noc completely diff still cos of your work under noc 2174 rest 9 yrs of unrelated work exp would be given points as for point system it just says you NOC has to be in cat O, A or B of rdc list 2011...... nothin that it has to be one of 29..... which is specifically mentioned in case of eligibility determination .... as one of factors among IELTS min score n one yr exp in one of 29 cat n that too in last 10 yrs.

By grace of Almighty ALLAH I have received PER mail through Canada Post yesterday after 6 weeks. Best of luck to everyone on this forum. I never saw such a great forum
Where people help each other selfessly. Although I don't post much on forum , but I try to read posts after 3-4 days. I feel you guys as a part of my family and hopes that one day we all meet in canada.

For the added value of PhD in Canada ..Money wise (Absolutely NO ADDED VALUE), however, It is good when you are not willing to work long hours anymore! and can accept making good money for living and enjoying your life (when you have paid all of your mortgage and don't have huge monthly bills to pay, talking about 20 years!!)

As far as you can work in the industry, you can make double and even tribble what an assistant professor can make! by time, when you got promoted to be associate .. then full professor, you might make about 30-50K/year less than what you can make in the industry.

I was actually planning to do phd in canada before two years due to some circumstances not able to. However I started phd - DW BI in India , SE seems to interesting me. Your subject is also quite interesting. I have experience in embedded app development for telecom and DW BI for again telecom BSS domain, so I thought to do in BI ,Please suggest if there is any related stream to this for phd which really help my career. how much phd is beneficial in canada(in USA it isbut not sure for canada), Job would be the first priority for me so is it possible to start phd in first year of my arrival by taking some grant ext.

Atleast thrice a night I woke up to check my mailbox for ten days, and still it's a midnight and I recieved PER.NOC 2134

DD encashed: 22nd aug
PER RECEIVED: 29th aug
Happy in life: now onwards and forever

I thank god parents and my lovely wife for this.
also I thank forum members(extended family I would say)
