NEED URGENT HELP!!!

I am 24 July applicant for NOC 0211. I came to know that date of birth mentioned on WES report is wrong (date is incorrect, month and year are correct). I posted on this forum for suggestions and one of the members suggested to email WES about their mistake and ask them to manage the issue at their end. Once I receive the response forward it to CIC.

But it's been over a week since I contacted WES but their is no response from their side. It's a mistake from their side which might affect my application. Should I wait more or inform CIC?

Have you called them? They would respond faster if you call rather than mailing them.

Yes I tried calling them but it never gets transfer to an agent

Hello shwcan

It is MANDATORY to fill the travel form and send it with your application in order to pass the 1st stage of the completeness check. There is a clear provision on the form IMM5562e to mention if you did not travel at all. Not enclosing the form at all creates a very logical assumption by the CIO officer that you have FORGOTTEN to include the form.

Please see form online at:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5562E.pdf

"List all trips you have taken outside your country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since your 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc. If you did not travel outside your country during this period, check “did not travel”.
dear brother I have to ask you about your experience and education health and safety.Do they accept experience in health and safety or they require relevant education to accept your experience what is in your case.is that necessary to have relevant formal qualification for the experience to be accepted or not.At the end many congrats for your PER.

Email WES Repeatedly if required. Send them an emotional mail stating how their mistake can cost you a chance to a better future. I had a similar issue. WES sent me an email saying that they had the required documents and my evaluation was under process. then after a few hours I got another email asking for a document that wasnt mentioned in the list of reqd documents. My WES status also changed to waiting for reqd documents. I emailed them repeatedly and tried calling them as well. I never got through their phone lines but 3 days later I got a reply from WES that my evaluation was complete and my status had changed as well.

Hi,before emailing them, just reconfirm your account details on WES website and take a print or save it, if shows correct details of DOB. By this, you can even approach CIC staying this was not an error from your end , hope this gets sorted out soon.

Hi

I have a normal bachelors not related to OH&S. But I have over 5 years of experience working as a Quality, Health & Safety and Environment Manager (QHSE Manager) in a big group in UAE. I also have several in-house training certificates conducted by SGS like Internal Auditor, Lead Auditor etc. Ofcourse they accept experience in your primary NOC which is under the list of eligible occupations. Unless the Employment requirements on the NOC website clearly indicate for an occupation that "a degree in xxxxx or a degree IS required", then it does not matter .

For example:

01. NOC 2131 (Civil Engineers) states employment requirements as:

"A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or in a related engineering discipline IS required." This means if CIC do no find a degree in civil engineering or related discipline for a person applying under 2131, then application will be rejected.

http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=2131

02. NOC 2263 (Inspectors in public and environmental health and occupational health and safety) states employment requirements as:

"Employment requirements

01. A bachelor's degree or college diploma in a discipline such as food science, environmental studies, chemistry or health and safety is USUALLY required.
02. In some establishments, several years of related work experience and the completion of in-house training courses may substitute for formal education. This means work experience is counted instead of formal education in NOC 2263.

I found an important pattern about CC/DD charge..... for example, those June applicants who already got charged or PERs, most of them are using CC payment, but for those DD payment applicants, even though their applications were received one day or two days earlier, the status is slow than CC applicant.

So, my conclusion is that I kind of regret using DD as payment, if you have friends still prepare the application, please advise them to use CC.

@Annie

Pls calm your nerves, you need not regret using DD at all :

- CIO doesn't give any preferential treatment to CC Applicants.. all apps get processed as per their intake FIFO and successful applicants get their PER at the same time for CC or DD (+/- a couple of days). The only benefit CC holders have is instant confirmation SMS in case of CC charged, so saved from hassles of chasing CIC gals for UCI/ enquiry by email

- More imp, Applicants who got their DD issued in May/ Jun have benefited as in the past 3 months most emerging market currencies (where majority of Applicants come from those countries esp. India) have fallen 15-20% vis-a-vis US$ and hence, CAD$. So if your CC gets charged now, you're effectively paying approx. 50 CAD$ more per Applicant for the same fees to CIC

So CIC might have overlooked or missed this mistake. In case I don't get reply from WES, I will hope my application gets through like yours.
Thanks for the hope

I experienced the same thing. After sending my application and was checking zerox copy of my application just found out that my birth date is incorrect on my WES result. My correct birth date is June 2, 1982 but WES put June 2, 1983. Thank God i was able to received my PER despite of this mistake.

Just sent another email to WES.

Hi Friends,

Did any one got background check / reference check from NDVO

??? ??? ???

Hi my forum friends,
Anyone knows when was te last ECAS update?
I have received my PER on 27th of August but still not able to check the status of my application online?
Is the data entry on ECAS case sensetive? Can it be that I'm doing something wrong?
