I dont think they have made any change. They have just changed toe footer and added "Generic Application Form". Do you see any change in the two formats???

Alright this is a bull *censored word*.. I sent my application on July 26th. I did not realize they changed the IMM 0008 form in July. my application reached on August 1st do i need to resubmit my application again? my application was returned before for wrong schedule 3. I don't want it to be returned again.

Does anyone know when CIC updated the IMM 0008?

Hi,
I don't want to discourage you guys but be bit more realistic. There are 106 applicant in the shared spread sheet before you even though it doesn't capture all who applied. So, be extremely hurry to complete the work and apply. And also, check the forum, spreadsheet and the cic status before you make final decision.

hope everything will go so smoothly after that, I am an applicant from Egypt too, but VO is "Cairo" and we are stuck there... That's good to see so many egyptians now in this forum, I started to get the impression that Egyptians won't go to Canada this year!

Yes we can apply but we need a job offer from a Canadian employer. There is no cap limit for that. It is independent of the cap.

Schedule 3 was significantly changed which included Spouse's IELTS & ECA requirement that's is why it was rejected & returned. IMM0008 has only footer updated & nothing is changed as such. No need to send fresh application / updated form.

Not to discourage you, but IF no IETLS & ECA is done, then there's very slim chance for this year. 2132 is some what hot & we have more then enough applicants that can roughly give an Idea that CIO might be having a lot more.

No one know what fields might be offered in 2014.

Your application might have been returned because of Schedule 3, which was totally different earlier, as it did not have NOC Category etc details prior to MAY 2013 regulations. So dont worry. Only incase there is any information that they are asking for in the new form, is not submitted, then only a file can be returned back.
