Hello,

I applied for FSW class in 2147 category. I am a Bangladeshi national but I am applying from New Jersey, USA. My application received Nova Scotia on June 4, 2013. I just received an "eligibility to be processed" email from CIC today :). Now, they will send my materials to Ottowa, Canada (my visa office) for further processing.

I did not send my police certificates (security clearance) at that time. We (me and my wife) will have to provide security clearance for both USA and Bangladesh because we have lived in these two countries during the last few years. My wife is going to Bangladesh day after tomorrow. She will return after three and a half months. Hence, if Ottowa office asks for security clearance within the next three months, my wife will find it difficult to give FBI security clearance. Does anyone know when the Ottowa office may ask for my security clearance? If it happens after four months, we should be Ok.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Nazmul

Congrats! one step closer to Canada ..

How long does it normally takes for the package to b returned, owing to cap reached cases?
Did anyone in 2174 or 1112 received the package back after 'cap reached' update?

Does anybody know when in July was modified IMM 0008 form?
Thanx a lot!

If you have been following this thread from a long time you must have gone through several humble requests from various applicants to register on the sheet. Each one of us here add up to an extra percentage of accuracy to our self-maintained sheet.

Sharing your information is at your sole discretion but as I said each one of us contribute towards an extra % of accuracy.

Hello All,

First of all heartiest congratulations to all who all ready heard back from CIC with PER and AOR and best of luck to all those like me who are all ears.
I was just pondering.. ideally the speed with which PER come out should increase now as compared a month back rite.. cause there must be higher inflows of application during the first month of May.. June should have received comparatively lesser number of apps.. but from the posts on this thread, it doesn't feel that frequency of PER has increased..

Any thoughts??

If by God's grace everything works out well, do you suggest that I get my 5 year old daughter along with us in the first visit?

I was thinking of going with my wife and finishing formalities, renting accommodation, shortlisting school, finishing formalities and then getting her to Canada. But my friend was suggesting that I take my daughter along in the first visit.

I know that the PA needs to do the landing first along with dependants, but is it suggested that I get all my dependants in the first go?

I may have asked something obvious and discussed earlier, but please... :)
