Hello,

I applied for FSW class in 2147 category. I am a Bangladeshi national but I am applying from New Jersey, USA. My application received Nova Scotia on June 4, 2013. I just received an "eligibility to be processed" email from CIC today :). Now, they will send my materials to Ottowa, Canada (my visa office) for further processing.

I did not send my police certificates (security clearance) at that time. We (me and my wife) will have to provide security clearance for both USA and Bangladesh because we have lived in these two countries during the last few years. My wife is going to Bangladesh day after tomorrow. She will return after three and a half months. Hence, if Ottowa office asks for security clearance within the next three months, my wife will find it difficult to give FBI security clearance. Does anyone know when the Ottowa office may ask for my security clearance? If it happens after four months, we should be Ok.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Nazmul

Hello,

My application (NOC 1112) was received by CIO-Sydney, NS on 30.05.2013. As the cap reached (probably 27.05.2013), I am sure that I did not fall within the 300 limit. So when could I get my application package back? Should I encash my DD by the photocopy?
I am also 30th May Applicant but there is a person who got PER of 26 June,2013 No IDEA how he got PER. You can expect anything from CIC, so the only thing one can do is to just wait and wait and wait................................ :( :( :(

Ideally you should go alone at first because that will make you free to search job and settle in canada.
If you land in Toronto and find job in Vancouver after one month then you will need to relocate and with family you will find bit more pressure.

There is no hurry for formalities of post landing. You all have PR VISA that is most important no matter if your wife and your daughter come to join you later.

If you have friend OR relative over there there is no problem to take them with you but in that case you should go with not only your wife but your daughter too.

If by God's grace everything works out well, do you suggest that I get my 5 year old daughter along with us in the first visit?

I was thinking of going with my wife and finishing formalities, renting accommodation, shortlisting school, finishing formalities and then getting her to Canada. But my friend was suggesting that I take my daughter along in the first visit.

I know that the PA needs to do the landing first along with dependants, but is it suggested that I get all my dependants in the first go?

I may have asked something obvious and discussed earlier, but please... :)

I ran and ran and ran every day, and I acquired this sense of determination, this sense of spirit that I would never, never give up, no matter what else happened.

Dear Vats

It is not compulsory to go with dependant. However they an go and formalities and come back but that's cost affective and unneccesory process.

Finally, you opened the floodgates in 0211. I was much eagerly waiting to see any movement of PER after Faizz. Many congratulation to you, etha4u, Allspark, Ulasad, Yulei and all those who received their much anticipated good news after a nerve-wrecking wait.
