Significance of aor? SGVO informed ashif_eee that his files already received by them and possible next step is MR.

ece24544 applied under the same NOC as I did (2147), and CIC received his application on Friday, 10 May. Mine arrived in Sydney on Monday, 13 May.

What is the significance of this email? I see that it provides a UCI number, which you probably didn't know until the email. I expect that I will be receiving this email at some point, but I don't know what to make of it.

What's the difference between a UCI and an Immigration File Number/Application Number? Does the UCI allow you to see more info about the progress of your application?

Call CIC and ask about your UCI, then check it on application status on CIC website (maybe your email address which you has been defined written wrong by you or CIC. after that, if you still didn't reach to any result, your application on way of your address and returned.

Hmm... Some VOs are giving specific though lenghthy timelines and others just referring to the website like in this case.

This number, 60 days, is for the ealy birds. Most people here waited more then 80 days for a PER.

I wrote to London Visa Office requesting them to amend my address. They changed it and sent me a confirmation. Please update the spreadsheet. /file transferred to LVO/

Okay, in my case (just for all in NDVO), I changed my mailing address through the case specific link they had sent in AOR and I got an automated message, I would not be mailed back by NDVO for this. Hence I shall just see ecas for the chnage of address. They also mentioned they would reply only if there was marriage or a birth as then new documents would be sent by email.

@ Rahul2132 not yet. I used an agent and still expecting info from them. Strange I can see applicants that submitted same time with me receiving some info. Anyways patience.

I wish I could say something like some other cold-blooded cool people were saying here
"I was on business trip(vacation) recently and completely forgot about all this application thing, so I did not check my e-mail for a week or so.
When,accidentally, I checked it, my PER letter was there. Right on schedule. Admins update my status." 8)

But I am not that cool and my balls is not made of steel. :'( ;D
Although being through months and months of tense waiting I think I will gradually develop it. 8)
The truth is, I was eagerly awaiting for this coveted e-mail and checked my box every half an hour last few days.
And finally, yesterday's morning I've got it!!! I received my PER!!!
ECAS status also showing IN PROCESS now!!!
I feel so glad and relieved now.
I made it to the next level of our waiting game. ;D

Haha.... Heart felt congrats for you. In my case in was 2 am India time when the PER message woke me up. I woke up everyone in the house... and kept them awake till morning making plans already Yeah, So I get it.
