Congrats to everyone who got PER.

Regarding MR from HK VO, I saw that processing time for FSW in that office is 14 months so it's weird that MR's are coming already.
Is there any other VO that has sent MR to any applicant ?

Have another VO-Clombo...

Hi friends,

Got a call from my consultant that it is very likely that CIC is not going to process applications after May 28-2013 for 1112 -Quota.
My file is going to be returned.(But i am hoping for some miracle).
He has suggested to wait for next year announcement for canada mostly in nov 2013 or by April 2014
He has given plan B to go for australia.
To add to my woes my US L1 also got rejected.....
Australia seems to be tough for me becoz I was earlier as Financial Analyst for 3 years and now working as a Business Analyst in a IT company for 6 years.
In case of australia i am applying as ICT Business analyst- NON It degree holders work experience is reduced by ACS by 6 years
I have a bachelors of commerce & mba finance.
So my scope is narrowing down and thinking of making my spouse as principal applicant who is a pharmacist MBA working as a marketing specialist.

Tough times ahead and do not know what is going to happen.....

I sympathise with u my friend.....Let me tell you one thing, life doesn't end when one gate closes.
I didn't even knew abt this FSWP program until April 2013. I got my IELTS result only on 19th April and on same day ECA announcement was done. I didn't had marriage certificate which I got it on 4th May and ECA from WES on 6th May.
Out of mind without any background check on consultant, hired cosultant in mid April.
I was hopeful but didn't based my life on this program.
Life goes on even if we do not succeed, but we must learn from our mistake to succeed next time.

sorry bro, but for me also it was the same, when called cic, they said ur file in not in the system and it has been rejected and returned to u.....

I called CIC twice, they just simply told me that they don't have access. Nothing like is it there there or returned. I asked them specifically, that if it is on way back, they said cannot comment over this.


When entering details on ECAS, do we have put hyphen after first four numbers? and the last name does it matters if its written all in CAPS.

By the grace of Lord Krishna I received PER today. .

Actually I forgot to include Background Declaration and Additional family information of my wife in application package. I came to know it by 21 July.
Thanks to all forum members, because of their discussion only I came to know about my mistake. On the same day I forwarded CIO both documents with Reference Letter. That letter received on 26 July and I was lucky one that letter was acknowledge by Dexter as Application package was received by him.
Chances of getting me selected was very less. But I kept positive hope and was prepared for any situation.
Today I am lucky one to be in first 52 of NOC 2132.
Thank you one again forum members for your help.

Just FYI for those who missed the cap this year... i just received a mail having my PR for Australia today..
It took around 4-5 months in the entire process.. and it was quite streamlined.
Do pm me if you have any queries, would be glad to help..

My Dear Friends! Yesterday night I received my PER. PER Received on 22/08/2013 and my DD was charged on 16/08/2013.

u can send an email after 6 weeks ...they should be replying back to u .

Thank you swordfish. Still in doubt cause CIC in Nova Scotia made changes and moved the range of hearing from them form 6-8 weeks to 8-10 weeks and I really don't know what to do

Cic takes too much time but I guess if strikes gets over then you will get AOR before the reply of cic!

I have already mailed them on 9th aug asking about my file status...
In how many days do they reply...?
i have rechecked my email id from my copy of forms which i have sent to cic. email id is correct...
this is the only email-id i use on daily basis.
