Congrats ! Did you received your PER yet?

Dear all,

I'm a new member of this great community of hopefuls. I sent my wife's FSW application (via UPS) to CIC for NOC 1112 and it was received in Nova Scotia on 25th July, 2013. Fees payment was by DD, not sure if its been cashed.

Please who knows the average response time for them to revert to us?

What should we be looking forward to at this point? I really dont understand some of the terms in use here like PER, ECA and co.

Hoping on a response soon from you great minds, God bless.

Hi,
Most of us are finding a couple of months wait before we hear anything from CIC.
Check out the FAQ: http://fswp2013.wordpress.com/ - it'll help get the hang of the jargon!
All the best

Anyone from London visa office and getting ECAS status that "we have start processing your application" or any other status like this ????

No PER yet. As I was following this forum and the tracking sheet every day, it seems a bit wired that my PER has not been issued 18 days after the payment. I brought up a question here 2 days ago and two answers popped up immediately with details on how to ask CIC for an update.

I will post any change in my app status as soon as I hear something from CIC ! :-\

Dear all,
My husband applied for 0211 category and application was received by Doug on 16th May. Its been like 12 weeks we haven't got any reply. What do you ppl suggest we should do? I mean even if our application is refused due to some reason at least we should get it back through courier.
please help :(

They are still processing the files of may month even i m waiting for my PER mail.
I suggest u should call the CIC callcenter and ask about ur file status.
If due to some reason ur file get rejected u will receive all ur documents along with ur fee at ur given address.

You could call them (it is OK to do this after 10 weeks) and ask them to confirm your application is still being processed. If it is on its way back to you then it would take a while as it comes in normal post rather than courier.
Hope it is all OK

278 application already received by CIC till 12 August 2013 for NOC 1112. I am not sure if your application within CAP limit of 300. But hope for the best.

Ok I'm back in town and I have read till page 1265 so I'm still not up to date. Don't know if I should even try to catch up, as I was going through my mail and I received this...

Had received this email on the 13th of August and I didn't know it as it was lost in the large number of unread emails. I did check my PO Box yesterday and no package received as yet. Yes I had some minor errors in my application but I have no idea what was the final nail in the coffin. Will update once I receive my package.

Thank you for the support and good luck to everyone.

hi!

im sorry about your application... Im wondering why they sent you an email on your returned package, did you inquire first about the status? or is it automatic, once they sent back the package, they will also inform you...
