I am in the same situation, now my VO is Ankara but next month I will go to Oman for 3 years because of my job. I thought I have to change my VO from Ankara to London, but considering your comment I can stay with Ankara visa office, Is it ok ?
I thought I have to change my VO to London because of the change of address.
Honestly I prefer Ankara because the processing time is less.

Immigration Office requested for the processing of your application

Indicate the name of the Immigration Office which serves:

your country of nationality, or
the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one (1) year.
Note: Do not select the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) as the immigration office requested to process your application. Although you may be required to submit your application to the CIO, you must indicate the name of an appropriate visa office using the criteria above.

I think you can infer from FSW2174's answer to the question of the other person that it is ok for you to maintain your VO at Ankara. Your post seem to confirm that you think so and not so much of a question.

Anyway, I think it is easier to maintain your VO, you can do your medical anywhere, you can take advantage of shorter processing time of your VO. So you are Ok.

I am having the same feeling, but having said that we have just one 5/31 CC applicant from 2174 and four 6/3 on the spreadsheet. I am hoping we hear something from them.

that means u hv nt lived there for 1 year.. then where is the question of changing ur VO???

LEAVE YOUR VO as is......you cant change it anyway, so dont worry about it.

Finally received my file number. Got the email late from my consultant......

Email sent from CIC ====> 9th Aug.

DD encahed ====> 1st Aug.

Email says " Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing." I hope this is normal.

My Transcript was delivered in WES yesterday Aug 14 @ 10am Toronto Time, However my account details update still NOT RECEIVED.

Does it takes time for them to update the status after they have received the documents?

Not yet but I just called CIC and they don't have any information but he said processing time is currently more than 10 weeks so you have to wait. I am at 10th week so hopefully will get something next week may be.....

I guess around 70% yes. It should be in exact order because it states: "This diagram explains each STEP in the application process." And the last status which is "COMPLETE" says it is the last step of processing. The page was modified 2013-07-11. Not sure though.. I just want to be positive

IN PROCESS means file is complete and transferred to respective visa office. ..
But I have not got my PER mail yet...
And my ecas status is IN PROCESS
