I think you can infer from FSW2174's answer to the question of the other person that it is ok for you to maintain your VO at Ankara. Your post seem to confirm that you think so and not so much of a question.

Anyway, I think it is easier to maintain your VO, you can do your medical anywhere, you can take advantage of shorter processing time of your VO. So you are Ok.

Dude...it can show in processes from 60 days to 60 months...I have burnt fingers once when I applied in 2007......., so relax and chilll... hopefully dis time it will be in 12 months.

Seniors please help!!!!

I applied for 2131 and had acquired a Masters Degree (MBA) as well as a B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering. WES had provided report only on my MBA and had only partially mentioned that minimum entry requirement for entry to MBA is University first degree.

Based on advise from this forum, I had sent an email to WES, asking them to either do an independent report on my B.tech Degree of include it in more details on my with the MBA on my old report, since the B.Tech is more relevant to my NOC 2131.

Shockingly I received an email from WES today, advising that my report has been updated to include both the BTech and MBA.

Now, the challenging part is that THEY SAID THAT CIC CAN NO LONGER ACCESS MY OLD REPORT ELECTRONICALLY ON THIER SITE . Instead, they said that the new report has been delivered directly to CIC and that a copy will be sent to me in the post.

My question is: Do you think that CIC will receive and link the new report to my application? Do you think I stand any good chance of sending the new report (hard copy) to CIC and will they be able to trace and add it to my application.

I am disturbed because, I fear I might ruin my chances, if CIC can neither validate/access my Masters report nor the new report.

Dear Roya,

I notice u r the only forum member that goes for " YES " under the Job Offer column, I'm not counting the member who applied before 4th May, although it took about 20 days more for him ( 2132 applicants are "him", aren't they?) than his contemporary applicants to receive PER. That is to say CIC verifies job offers comprehensively to make sure of the authenticity and it takes more time, so no need to panic, I'd say u re safe..

On the other hand if worse case scenario ur app would be returned u can always resend it as u don't need to be worried about the cap cup...

BTW I assume u r using a friend's or relative's credit card, have u told them to inform the bank that u re expecting a charge from CIC? I've heard members here suggest people to do that for extra safety margin..

I called up CIC today & got my UCI number at least. But it still says, "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided." Hopefully, they are still reviewing my documents. My DD expires on 28th August. Im kinda worried a bit now :-s

Also, while filling in the UCI number, is it of form the xxxx-xxxx or just xxxxxxxx? Those of you who already have been checking their ECAS statuses, plz help...

Do you have a job offer. Could it be the reason for the delay, maybe they are verifying your offer?
