My applicantion was received by CIO on 3rd July;
with 278 Applicants on NOC 1112 as of date, what are the chances to be IN within the cap?

Really worried

Looking at the excel sheet there are almost 30 ppl there before you and god knows how many more that arent on this forum. GOod Luck DUde!

I received PER mail on 15/07/2013
but still not received any information
regarding transfer of file to local visa office i.e. NDVO

Hi everyone,

I just rang CIC and after loooongggggg wait (less than what I have been waiting for them to send me my well deserved PER...... ).... had a lovely lady over the phone ...in a really bad mood...(maybe one of us guys had stolen her cow).....I just couldn't help annoying her further... She just wouldn't give me any information and I was very keen on extracting it.... after a long 15-20 mins of argument.....guess wat... I had to give up... ... I just thought I couldn't wooo her.... that's just on the lighter side....I am just wondering how people get information out of the CIC men/women.... may be I've just lost all my charm...
Anyway...m still wondering what has happened to my application.... m sure many of us are waiting to know the same ...but....there you go...we'll have to wait...for a yes or a no...

Have you checked your status on ECAS? what does it shows?

My dear friends,,
Why am I not gettting PER? yet.
I am an 2263 applicant NDVO, application reached on 22 May. No email !!!!!!!!I tried calling and they told that they dont have access to the information(unlucky 3 times???????????)
Having devoted so much and the suspense is getting on my nerves!!!!!!!!!

Well I don't know if this will calm u down. My friend and I applied applied under 2263 as well. She submitted on the 20th of may, was debited saturday the 3rd of July and got PER monday the 12th of July. Mine got there around the 29th and I haven't heard a peep. So calm down. Think they are exceptionally slow with our NOC. Keep d faith k? On the up side we have over 250 slots still vacant

Ecas updated, please share whether it states file received by Local (NDVO) Visa office.

Dear bhFSW2174,

The Ecas status will not changed untill they made a decision on our file or rejected.
Other wise the status will be "IN PROCESS" it means (A decision has not been made yet.)


Following are the events that may occur at this status

Application Received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)
We have received your application and will review it in order of receipt. We will send you an acknowledgement letter.

Documentation Verified by CIC
We are reviewing your application to make sure it is complete and that no documents are missing. We will return incomplete applications for resubmission.

An Interview May be Required
We will review the application and decide if an interview is necessary. If so, we will inform you in writing of the date, time and location of the interview.

me too! I have UCI but no info from ECAS. ECAS doesnt know who I am
