it seems after the Cap update that CIC is working on the hot NOC faster so that the majority of the people waiting know that they did not make it.

It may not be like that, they process the application as it comes to NOVA SCOTIA office.
Since, the number of applications came was more for hot NOC's the number of accepted list shows exponential hike.

Please update the spreadsheet and find below some useful information.

Application received: May 30th, 2013
NOC: 0211
VO: Moscow

CC charged on Aug 13th (still pending but I already see transaction details of CIC - $1100.00 CITIZENSHIP & IMM FSW SYDNEY , NS B1P 1J3). Transaction's details appeared on my statement today, Aug 15th but was done on Aug 13th. Before I found this information I called CIC on Aug 13th (actually same day when they charged the cc) to get my UCI but they said there is no UCI under my details yet. At the same date, Aug 13th, I called my bank to make sure they won't decline any coming transaction from CIC in amount of CA$1100 (forex). I don't know whether all above actions are coincidence but still there is a cc charge. Based on statistics (spreadsheet) created by you, genius guys, I was expecting the charge this week (70-75 days after application received) and it is happened.

Some minor unimportant missed point can be added to spreadsheet if you, admins, find it unnecessary:
ECA equivalence: same
Receiving Time:09:37 am

Well, I would like to thank people who created this forum thread, magic spreadsheet and those who actively participates in Q&A and comments for new comers. It is a valuable job guys.

P.S. will I receive UCI # with PER letter wich usually comes in 2-12 days after cc charged? Don't want to call CIC once again.

My applicantion was received by CIO on 3rd July;
with 278 Applicants on NOC 1112 as of date, what are the chances to be IN within the cap?

Really worried

As per the statistical information the chances are very narrow dear, any way hope for the best.

How can we know that file is transfered to local visa office?

I received PER mail on 15/07/2013
but still not received any information
regarding transfer of file to local visa office i.e. NDVO

Many after and before your PER are waiting for the transfer to VO mainly NDVO.
I think the strike has slow down the VO processing little bi.

Any way hope you will receive your mail from NDVO next week itself.

You should receive your PER in a few days time. I have not heard of anyone having their CC charged and got a NER.

me too! I have UCI but no info from ECAS. ECAS doesnt know who I am

"Note that the Client Application Status tool is updated weekly, usually on Tuesdays."

So, status change would be visible by nest week first. Good Luck
