Why am I not gettting PER? yet.
I am an 2263 applicant NDVO, application reached on 22 May. No email !!!!!!!!I tried calling and they told that they dont have access to the information(unlucky 3 times???????????)
Having devoted so much and the suspense is getting on my nerves!!!!!!!!!

Must keep calling ... ppl sometimes got their UCI after trying several times .... Just at the very start mention u r an international caller and waited for 11 long months without any update ... so at a very least if they hand over the UCI, u may able to have some inroads .... ! I would say be confident, they'll listen ..

Yeah, Its really good for both of us ... I hope another remaining applicant of NOC 2174 also get this update ...

I think PER will contain the same information + another File Number may be... if that's the case (inclusion of the File Number) ... then I would say it's better to have the email ... !

Our dd is encashed.

Do we can call from gmail?

Yes - provided you have upgraded Gmail's chat to Hangouts, in the field where you normally type a contact name you can also type a phone number, e.g. 16139444000 (that was from memory and may not be CIC's actual number, just an example)

Hi Guys,

Sorry I was out of town and really busy with work so couldn't get time to log in to the forum. Just an update from my side that I received PER on 07-08-13. I just logged into the portal using my UCI number and the status shows "In Progress".
Kindly update the spreadsheet and I hope for more good news to come soo

Anyways, yes I did send my bachelor degree along with my master degree to CIC.

i have got the 8 digit identification number(UCI) through the CIC call centre on Aug 12-2013
I have filed under 1112 -noc code & application reached on June 4-2013
I have tried entering the 8 digit number through the IVR but the call gets transferred to the call center agent & the agent says she does not have access to any data(tried atlest 8 times after I got the UCI)
I tried checking on ECAS but no data is available.(Checked on ECas for atleast 10 times).
What inference should i draw from the UCI number????The consultant through whom i have applied says UCI number is a number which every file is allocated.Consultant says wait for two more weeks.
With 1112 quota hitting 278 as of Aug 12 -2013 what are the chances of making in top 300 .....

it seems after the Cap update that CIC is working on the hot NOC faster so that the majority of the people waiting know that they did not make it.

Hey Guys,

Today I received an email from CIO with regards to my enquiry sent on Jul 19th:

CIO Email:
"Your file is with our office and is awaiting completion of initial processing. You will be contacted further in due course."

Background of my case:
File received on: May 15th
CC Charged on: Jul 13th
PER received on: Jul 24th

Now I was of the view that I would receive a response from CIO saying that "your file was transferred to LVO on such and such date etc." since its already been 21 days (Today's date Aug 14th minus PER Date Jul 24th)

What do you think why the file is still with CIO, whats goin on there.....?

I don't understand why they replied such word "waiting for the completion of initial processing" knowing that you already received PER long time back. If this is the case it means thorough checking is still going on there. Just confirm with them if it is due for transferring.

I read somewhere that the average number of days is between 22 - 30 days ( just saying )

My applicantion was received by CIO on 3rd July;
with 278 Applicants on NOC 1112 as of date, what are the chances to be IN within the cap?
